Got this for hubs who reacts adversely to so many products it's unreal. SUCCESS!! Contains snail secretion filtrate...
My 52yo hubs is a nurse and unfortunately, due to exposure to so many chemical products, has ended up with incredibly sensitive skin on his hands and face. We have to be so careful with simple things such as washing-up liquid, clothes wash, hand soap, hand creams, moisturisers, anything scented that goes onto the skin, etc. He's tended to stick to water-based products to moisturise, but those don't last long.I'm pretty familiar with the benefits of coconut and its byproducts and was interested to see how this cream did on him. He put a small amount on yesterday morning, before disappearing out for the day in the cold. There was no redness or itchiness on application, and he only needed a small amount as it rubbed in easily and seemed to cover a lot of skin - he used a blob around the size of a fingertip. When he came back hours later, his skin wasn't reddened and wasn't peeling slightly, as it tends to do in real cold and in the heat. Touching his skin, I could feel a hint of something on it, though it wasn't greasy - some 10 hours after application.Today, he'll be in a heated office for 8hrs, so it'll be interesting to see how this does in the heat, and I'll update this review idc. At first glance, this seems to have succeeded where many hypoallergenic products have failed. The only slight negative to it is that until it dries, it kind of smells like the generic pink cleaning fluid that is used in public places - a bit floral/bubble-gum-y, But, it dries quickly and the skin feels velvety soft.I binned the packaging before checking the ingredients, which I did suspect contained glycerin, due to how moisturised and smooth the skin feels. This is the case, and here are the rest of the ingredients; you might want to google the SNAIL SECRETION FILTRATE part:Aqua (Water), Glycerin, Glyceryl Stearate SE, Cetearyl Alcohol, Stearic Acid, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Isoceteth-20, Polysorbate 20, Polylactic Acid, Rosa Damascena Flower Oil, Ethylhexylglycerin, Snail Secretion Filtrate, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter) Seedcake Extract, Dehydroacetic Acid, Butylene Glycol, Parfum (Fragrance), Gardenia Tahitensis (Tiare Flower) Extract, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice Powder, Dipeptide Diaminobutyroyl Benzylamide Diacetate, Ascorbyl Glucoside, Charcoal Powder, Hippophae Rhamnoides (Seabuckthorn) Fruit Oil, Pumice, Rhododendron Ferrugineum Leaf Cell Culture Extract, Disodium EDTA, Isomalt, Benzyl Salicylate, Glucose, Hexyl Cinnamal, Citronellol, Subtilisin, Carbomer, Hydrolyzed Pearl, Limonene, Pelargonium Graveolens Flower Oil, Geraniol, Linalool, Citrus Aurantium (Neroli) Flower Oil, Lecithin, Phenoxyethanol, Tocopheryl Acetate, Benzyl Alcohol, Sodium Benzoate, Lactic Acid, Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1, Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7, Sodium Lactate, CI 17200 (Red 33).I'd love to be able to buy this again, but for 50mls priced at seventy-seven-quid, despite it being a miracle cream type of product, it's too far out of my budget. Oh, and hubs doesn't know about the snail thing, as I'm not sure how that'd go down!

A nive moisturiser that does make your skin look and feel richer and fresher...
The Derma Treatments PH Balancing Day Moisturiser is a reasonably high-end hydrating facial moisturiser that helps protect against skin damage whilst hydrating your skin for a healthier complexion. The moisturiser itself has a moderate consistency to it which when applied to your skin is absorbed in pretty quickly after just a small amount of circular rubbing. My wife’s used the moisturiser each day over a four day period so far. Initially after application she says there’s a feeling of lightness and general freshness as the moisturiser is absorbed into your skin and hydrating the cells. She’s also certain that it’s had a noticeable impact upon her skin, making it look plumper and clearer with a general healthy cleanness to it.The moisturiser comes in a reasonably small 50ml tube which really doesn’t look like it’ll last all that long. However, as my wife pointed out, you only apply a reasonably small amount each time, so 50ml will actually last you at least for a good couple of months or so (depending on how often you use it).

Great winter cream for locking in moisture, esp for dry and sensitive skin
I've been using the Derma Moisturising Night Cream, which I really like, so I was pretty excited to use the day cream alongside it. The consistency is pretty similar - thick and and a little rich, dispensing from a squeezy tube. My only complaint is that it's a little too strongly perfumed (it's...floral, I think? I'm not great at identifying smells, I'm afraid). As with the night creams, within less than a week of using it, I felt a difference. My skin's been in pretty good condition lately (thanks Vine!) and is generally quite clear, just dry and sensitive, so I'm very conscious of taking care of it well, especially as we transition into winter and the air is drying out. Between the night cream and the day cream, my skin's felt constantly soft, firm, plump and comfortable, with the moisture really locked in. It's really good, with none of the tightening that this time of year usually brings! Actually, before I started using the Derma creams, my skin *was* drying out, tightening and flaking, and all my creams could only hold it for so long. I've managed to the accidental day or two without moisturiser, and my skin still feels great and looks fine, which is the kind of thing I can only get away with when it's very humid. So consider me converted - I think the price right now is great, too -- at 9.99 (13.99 inc p&p), it's well worth it.
