Hope I never have to use it!!
But still worth the purchase. It is an interesting concept and we took one out and I believe it will work as designed. Live in Minnesota and do a lot of driving and you just never know.

Great Emergency Blankets!
These feel super premium and not delicate like other emergency blankets I have tried. They are super compact, making it perfect for an emergency backpack or to put in the car. It is very warm. However, it is not very easy to fold back up and put in the storage bag.

Excellent Emergency Gear!!!!
It's very compact and lightweight!!!! It keeps the wind from bothering me when I'm trying to sleep. It kept me a bit warmer but not that much warmer. I would suggest pairing this with an emergency blanket since they don't take up much space and used together warm you up significantly. It's a nice addition to a small emergency backpack or car kit!!!!!

Will Keep You From Freezing...
I got this as part of an emergency kit for extended road trips. Traveling in winter can be risky. Not often, but fortune favors the prepared. There are three in my family so I opened one and put the other three in my winter emergency kit. The blanket itself is very light. It is insulated to maintain body heat, but will certainly never feel like a proper blanket. This is more about survival than comfort. I used it to cover up in the mid 40s. I was sitting on my deck in a chair, so not representative, but was the option I had available. I wouldn't say I was warm, but I could feel it retaining heat. It was breezy, so that didn't help, but would probably work much better in a car on the side of the road waiting for help. Again, these are very much about emergencies. Overall, I'm pleased with them. Not sure they worth the $60 they are listing at. However, if you ever needed them, they may be the best $60 you ever spent.

Mylar emergency blankets sealed to make a bag.
At $59.99 as of the time of this review, the price of this set of 4 emergency sleeping bags is pricy compared to similar systems, by more than double. Some similar systems include other features and are less than half of the cost of this set.The sleeping bags are essentially Mylar emergency blankets, sealed at the seams to make a bag. They work well to hold the heat. Take care though that improper use with children may run the risk of suffocation as any bag would. If you do decide to order these or any other emergency sleeping or bivvy bags, it may be tempting to open one up on receipt to see what they look like. I caution you that while they will fold back up to a compact size, much like map folding, the creases are not always in a way that makes sense. An completely unfurled bag will likely take in some air that will make folding down to the original size difficult (not impossible).

Highly visible bright orange emergency mylar sleeping bags with taped seams in convenient pouches
The Prepared Hero Survival Bag is like the traditional lightweight, waterproof mylar survival blankets you would carry with you for emergencies, but with a few notable improvements.-They come in a large sleeping bag size with taped seams to really hold in the the heat and prevent air leakage.-The exterior of the survival sleeping bag is bright orange to aid in visibility.-They are neatly stored in a small portable pouch.I have a few of these in each of my vehicles and in my emergency bag. I wouldn't risk driving over the mountains in winter without something like this due to remote location, spotty phone reception, and unexpected weather events. I would recommend this item.

Simple inexpensive protection, less heat loss than an emergency blanket
Item description: Emergency Sleeping Bag, 4 packBrand: Prepared HeroItem: B09QZB3GD8Date received: 2023-03-29Headline - Simple inexpensive protection, less heat loss than an emergency blanketProduct Claims4 pack, Emergency Sleeping BagsColor, OrangeI received exactly what was claimed in the product description as to quantity (4 pack), color (orange), type (metallized plastic film sleeping bag). The items came simply packed in a plastic bag, within which were 4 plastic bag wrapped drawstring bags with the company logo, each of which contained a plastic bag wrapped package, which contained a folded emergency film sleeping bag. (Yes, a plastic bag contained 4 plastic bags, which each contained a plastic zipper bag within a drawstring bag.)These would obviously be critically helpful during winter emergencies, but it doesn't have to be winter for you to suffer hypothermia (significant loss of body heat). On a cool windy day, just being wet from a unexpected immersion, combined with the wind, can cause you to lose enough body heat to kill you.How do they work? These "sleeping bags" are basically tubular versions (with an enclosed end) of the widely popular "emergency blanket" - which is a metallized plastic film material. This material reflects your own body heat and is wind-resistant, so it provides super-lightweight production against radiation loss and convection loss, 2 of the 3 possible forms of heat loss, so it can be a critically important feature to staying alive in an emergency. It is too thin to provide conductive insulation on it's own, but the heat generated by your own body, in combination with some layering from your clothes (even if wet) or other material or stuffing, can add further protection from the 3rd form of heat loss. The tube-like form of this particular item provides better convection heat loss protection versus a regular blanket-type form. The unfolded size of 6 foot 6 inch length by nearly 3 foot width (34.8 inches) is big enough for a large man to snuggle into it, and at only 114 grams for the item, the innermost storage bag, and the small instruction sheet, it is too light not to include several replicates of this in your various emergency preparations (a couple in each motor vehicle, one in each bug-out-bag, etc.).
