Land & Sea Gluten Free Chippy Curry Sauce 500g

This curry sauce is fabulous. I’ve been gluten, dairy and egg free for 2 years and was pining for Chinese food. Stumbled across this curry sauce and bought it with low expectations it would taste anything like my beloved Chinese local takeaway. Oh how wrong was I... the curry sauce takes two mins to make up (just mix the powder with boiling water and vóila, curry sauce ready to go) and I just add some peas, mushrooms, onions and chicken for a fabulous Chinese curry. Very happy indeed and recommend it to anyone who’s gluten free (and their families) that wants a lovely curry.

I am a massive curry lover and if your gluten intolerant (diagnosed two weeks ago) like me then you will want your fix of chinese style curry. Ignore anyone telling you differently, this is good and tastes just like chip shop/chinese curry.You simply add the amount into hot water and stir for five minutes and your done, not gloopy or anything at all when constantly stirred. Will definately buy more

As a Coeliac, Chinese food is generally off limits.I don't miss many foods, but Chinese curry was one that I did miss & I have wasted so much money on alleged "Chinese curry" sauces that taste nothing like Chinese, always being more like an Indian curry, leaving me really disappointed & my cravings even stronger.Decided to give Land & Sea Chinese Curry sauce mix a try, after seeing it recommended & I have to say, although it didn't taste 100% like Chinese, it was the closest & best that I have had. I really enjoyed it & it certainly eased my cravings.Will definitely be buying this again when this batch runs out.

After being diagnosed as Coeliac I was gutted to learn Chinese food is hard to find gluten free so I decided to give this sauce a try as my cravings for some curry sauce became too much!The sauce itself is really nice, I actually preferred to the sauces I used to have before my diagnosis. Quick to make, super tasty and it’s so nice to be able to eat chinese curry again! Will definitely be purchasing again!

I have been craving chippy curry sauce for over 20 years and found this, I was slightly disappointed as there is a strong taste of star anise, which I am not a great fan of. My daughter hates it, but its ok now and then when I have the odd stir fry.

Very happy with this gluten free curry sauce as I am ceoliac and missed my curry sauce .Really lovely taste and you can make it as thick or thin as you like .At last I can have fish and chips with curry sauce 😁 .Make as much or little as you like .

What a shame they have changed the recipe it was so lovely before just like Chinese curry from a takeaway but now it’s like a chip shop curry sauce with lots bits in the colour and taste have changed dramatically and it’s extremely saltymaybe ok with chips but it’s no good for making a curry so disappointed as this was the only gluten free Chinese curry sauce around all the others are more like Indian curry sauce probably won’t be buying again which is a shame

Super happy with this purchase!I am gluten free and tried so many curry sauces but i thought i’d try one last time, and i’m so glad i did.Taste like chippy curry sauce! Yay!
