Fruit of the LoomWomen's Valueweight Long Sleeve T-Shirt

I’m a size 16 waist down and 18 waist up so ordered XXL which according to sizing would be fine. I can’t say it’s tight but it is snug. I didn’t think it was particularly soft when it arrived and, as is my usual behaviour with new clothes, I put it in the wash with plenty of softener which made a difference.Having washed it again with other clothes and using softener it’s now lovely, so I would say it needs a bit of TLC

Although the t-shirt was genuine fruit of the loom, and lovely feel cotton. I ordered a size small which was a manufacturer size 10, this was way to big for myself. I'm 4 feet nine inches and of a very slight build, and it was to small for mum who is 5 foot 2 inches and of a medium build. So had to return.

I'm a size 14 and the Large size fits well - it's snug, but absolutely fine. I'm also on the short size (usually in petite ranges), so the sleeves are a little long, but I can live with this, for the price.Others have commented on the cotton quality - when you compare to supermarket budget clothing, the supermarket T-shirts tend to be a very thin, but also soft material, but which have a short life span. This shirt has a slightly thicker cloth - I wouldn't call it scratchy - it's just not very thin and filled with lycra, as we've got used to from the supermarket brands.This is a great shirt for layering under outfits, at a budget price - would definitely buy again. As a guide to sizing, a Large is like a snug size 14 - if you like a looser fit, I'd guess the next size up would be more a 14-16.

It's 100%cotton so doesn't stretch a lot. It is comfortable, however when rising arms up it lifts up all shirt- I found it annoying. Fit matches the description, size M was M. It is too pricey.

I ordered a medium black which is normally my size but it is too tight. I couldn't check the label as there wasn't one, it appeared to come from e bay which I wasn't expecting. I ordered another which came from a different address and has a label with medium and fits snuggly. Both ordered on the same day and arrived earlier than stated date.I have now come to the conclusion that although the grey one was larger than the black one perhaps with 'fruit of the loom' I need to order a much larger size!!!! I am size 14/16 and normally take medium size clothes but not this time. Good job I have some skinny granddaughters!
