I received the product wrapped in plastic and undamaged in a box. There was a plastic seal over the shaker to prevent any loose fibers from slipping out. From what I see the little fibers look like tiny little beard trimmings. I got the product in black and I was concerned that it might contain loose black dye that can stain my clothes, but from what I can see, the color is strictly on the fibers.I originally wanted this product to conceal some of the thinning amid the top. I use to use tinted dry shampoo, which adds volume to my hair and color. However that was very staining and end up feeling gross. Similar to the dry shampoo, the application of this was a bit too messy to be precise. Once I pat down on the product after shaking the fibers "liberally" over the area, a bunch of it got on my hand and on my forehead. If I decide to use them when going out I may keep this stuff stictly towards the back of my head, because it would be embarrassing to have little stubble like hair fibers fall upon my forehead. Again I got the one in black so maybe the other colors might not be as noticable if a few flaked off. The directions did not say whether or not to add hair spray but that might be a good idea to keep the fibers in place?Overall, I'm not sure how I feel about this product. It's really messy and I'm not sure how well it would stay if I do decide to use it. I may try it out when going out at night. Again, the hair fibers might look less noticeable with lighter colors, but with black, it's very apparent when it tumbles onto my forehead or skin. I was hoping this could be an alternative to the dry shampoo, but I am still undecided with the little fibers.

Great, no complaints

So this product works like a charm and stays on very well. Noticeable difference! The one thing that I will say is- be careful and be gentle as is it has the potential to be very messy. I tried it on a small patch right above my forehead (like literally at the hairline) where I my hair is thinning, and well, it got pretty messy. The second time I tried it, I covered about half of the top by placing my finger over it… I then gently used the product in that same area. I had to go very slowly and gently, but it worked!!! Would absolutely recommend this product.

This REVERED KINGS Hair building fibers works just as well as the name brand at a fraction of the cost! It's easy to apply, adheres in sparse areas along my edges and it blends flawlessly w/my hair color!After applying & blending, I use hairspray to keep it sealed in place and it actually holds for days without falling or rubbing off.Now to avoid a messy application, I place take over half of the container in order to control the amount dispersed in the targeted area. This way it clings to my hair evenly without clumpingThis is a great product that works as designed at a great value so I do recommend!

My husband has a thin patch on the crown of his head that he is self-conscious about. Although I think he is handsome no matter what, I received a recommendation from my hair stylist for a similar product. He tried this one as well, and it really is impressive how well it blends in. The fibers provide just enough coverage to really look like actual hair. It might not be a miracle "cure", but it is an excellent alternative to those who want to show a little less scalp for a reasonable price.

Shipped fine, driver just did not deliver to correct address. If this product is like the rest out there, I’ll say it’s amazing. Got it for my fiancé who can sure fill out spots, he’s tried a dark brown before but needed black. I’ll order another black and hope it arrives. But over all these products do build hair fibers temporarily for the day and look great!
