I was scared because the lighter came already open and looked like a used return. BUT it works perfectly, looks great, and no problems charging. I absolutely love this lighter! The only con is my husband took one from me because he loves it so much lol

I was impressed with the product’s design. It is very sleek and does what the description says. Works very well for candles in containers that have burnt down too low for traditional lighters; and you don’t have to worry about a flame burning your hand. I do think the tip should be a material other than that of plastic, as the tip of mines has melted some. Overall not a bad product for the price. Also it’s rechargeable so that saves over traditional butane lighters which can become very expensive.

I ordered two of these several years ago, and when one became defective (wouldn't hold a charge, sparker stopped working), I reached out to the company and they very promptly sent a replacement. Superb customer service and an innovative product makes me a loyal customer. Will be giving these as gifts to all my candle loving friends and family as well!

I use this to light my propane-fired gas firepit. The longer reach of the lighter beats having a short match stick. With the short match stick, lighting highly flammable gas was scary. The sudden resultant fireball as the match stick's flame met the propane gas often meant the hairs on my hand were singed. Now, I can rest easier, with the longer reach this lighter provides. I get a bit more standoff from the gas. If I'm being careless, then the fireball is still big and scary. I've used this lighter to light the gas burner on my stove and aroma candles, too. It works well. The limitation with this lighter is that whatever you wish to set afire needs to be in between the two electrodes. I do wish it was a bit longer to provide better standoff from the propane gas and resultant fireball. It still make me nervous to light the firepit.

Easy, fast and convenient way to light candles without worrying about fuel in previous lighters. Very cost effective. Highly recommend.

sleek and stylish if there is such a way of describing a gas lighter. it essentially powers a small metal ring which glows ay the end of the device , add a gas burner and your off , no drama , very effective and long lasting on a charge , does not need lighter gas to use just usb connector to recharge it very infrequently , good buy you won't be disappointed
