Rockingham Forge Upright Matt Black Universal Knife Block, 20 Slots for Knives up to 20cm Blade Length, 27cm

This knife block lived up to the recommendations by other buyers. I too had a bristle block that had become unusable and needed something compact, nice to put on the work top and able to take my 20 knives. This knife block ticks all the boxes very clean classy looking black matt finish that is not large but fits all my knives perfectly. Sturdy construction that adhere easily to your work top and upright rather than slanted so you can arrange your knives smallest to largest at the back and so can be easily located when you need a certain knife for your cooking. Would recommend as good value as well.

I ordered the wooden version of this product. I was somewhat hesitant, as some reviews here had said it was poor quality, but I couldn't afford the more fancy knife storage options I had seen. I'm not sure if I was just lucky or if the quality has improved since the other reviews, but I have no issues with mine at all. It's nice and solid, and the knives slide into the slots easily, and are securely held in place once in. One of my knife blades is over 20cm, but it's a utility knife (/confectioner's knife) and therefore doesn't have a sharp point at the end - so I am happily storing it in the block anyway as I don't think it will get damaged. The block grips it fine despite the knife being longer. I think pointed knife blades would need to be under 20cm (as per the manufacturer's suggestion) or they might get lodged into the bottom of the block and get damaged. The design is simple and inoffensive, I'm happy with how it looks on my worktop. I have not yet tried to clean it as I've not had it for long, so I can't speak to that.... though the cleaning process is not obvious to me! Just hoping it won't need doing often (I only put clean knives into it, so why would it need cleaning much?)

Cheap and cheerful knife block, the slots are a little too close together so I'd not expect you could comfortably fit all the knives it claims to hold but it works well enough for my set. It's aging well (~two years old at this point) and it's holding up just fine. Knives are held securely in the block and they look pretty good too. At ~£25 I'd say this is pretty good value for money.

Very happy - looks good, solid, perfect height to accommodate even the longest bread knife. 20 slots and each one can easily take two knives. Much better than the one we bought it to replace. Because it says ‘knife’ in the title you will need to be there in person to take delivery and give your name and DOB.

Great product that fits neatly in the corner of our kitchen and looks the part. Wasted money on one of the universal knife holders with the brush type plastic rods inside to hold our eclectic collection of kitchen knives but after a few months the rods bent and the knives wouldn't go in properly so looked around for an alternative and found this. It looks nice, is robust and sturdy, wipes down easily and is a sensible rectangular shape, as well as holding a variety of knives securely. Should have got it first time round.

I spent a lot of time looking at reviews for different knife storage options before deciding on this one. It has not disappointed. The bamboo colour is rich and warm but more importantly the block holds the contents of 2 standard blocks plus 4 Santoku knives that were in a drawer. That's 15 in total and I think there is still room for a few more. It seems to be well made so far but I've only had it a couple of weeks so can't comment on longevity. A really good option for storing multiple knives safely.

Perfect for my needs. Robust knife block that holds all my sharp knives. (No more cut fingers looking through the drawer!) It looks good on the kitchen unit and is well made. Much better than the wooden blocks on the market and a very reasonable price. Highly satisfied.

Detta knivstället är väldigt bra. Stilrent och tar inte mkt plats och man kan få i väldigt många köksknivar utan att det ser oorganiserat ut. Har ca 15 knivar i stället utan problem. Ska även tilläggas att jag köpt 3-4 av dessa ställen och håller mig till denna med i framtiden. Bra produkt och till ett rimligt pris. 5/5 i betyg.

Ho sostituito il ceppo portacoltelli che avevo con le setole in plastica nera e di base ovale con questo qui: oltre ad essere molto più ordinato sia esteticamente che come posizionamento dei coltelli, le fessure le ritengo molto più efficaci e durature. Ho potuto inserire 9 coltelli più 2 coppie di forbici scomponibili (prima ero costretto a riporle in un cassetto), per un totale di 13 elementi. Il prodotto è robusto e pesante, con quattro piccoli gommini che lo posizionano ad hoc. Ho sfogliato decine di pagine per cercare un portacoltelli dall'ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo e mi ritengo più che soddisfatto di quanto ho trovato, soprattutto per il gran numero di alloggi disponibili.

Es justo lo que aparece en la descripción! La calidad y aspecto son muy buenos. La parte negra, donde se guardan los cuchillos es una especie de cartón semirígido. Esto hace que tus cuchillos estén bien protegidos y que sea muy fácil de meter y sacar.

J'ai acheté ce bloc car je cherchais quelque chose d'élégant et de pratique. En effet, il permet de mettre pas mal de couteaux et ne détonne pas avec la décoration de ma cuisine. Le bloc est solide et moins imposant que je ne le pensais. J'en suis très satisfaite.
