Invacare Standard Sling with Commode Opening for Patient Lifts, Polyester Mesh, 9047

This sling (you sent me two by mistake) makes caregiving so much easier. My brother weighs 350 lbs.He has bone cancer and can't stand. This sling helps him maintain at least a little bit of control and privacy.He feels better about himself and the fact that his bed doesn't have to be changed so often. It is a real back saver.!!!!!!!!

The seat works well, as advertised. I bought the chains and haven't tried the straps. The chains hurt the person in the seat. I sewed chain covers that help somewhat.

This is a perfect product, easy to use, easy to handle durable, little bit high cost, but its help me a lot.

Works well with the hoist I rented. I bought my own chain to use and just cut it to length to hoist the person.

I ordered the full sling before I realized you don't need a full sling, just order the commode version 2 if you think you'll need to swap them out for cleaning.

I needed to replace a sling due to wear. I hoped this sling would be soft like the one we have but it is not. I can't imagine putting a fragile, naked, elderly person on this sling. It appears to be very strong and looks like it would hold a good deal of weight but I feel sorry for the patient that has to use it. It would be great if this company would make a padded sling in this style because even the soft nylon sling is not comfortable for someone with bedsores.
