Wildstorm: A Celebration of 25 Years

I am big Wildstorm fan and was disappointed when the entire line was discontinued by DC. I had extremely high hopes for this collection. My expectations might have been a little lofty. Here's some feedback:1. The collection is a nice hard back.2. The collection does contain multiple brand new stories.3. The collection also contains several reprintings in black and white.4. I had hoped for more sketchbook type content, around the characters creations and such, but that type of content is missing.5. The book contains a plethora of pin-ups of various teams by various artists.In the end I was hoping for more of a history and story of Wildstorm's creation as opposed to a smattering of content from the line. Don't get me wrong, I am happy to have it on my shelf, but I would've liked more.

This is an excellent reminder of the talent that came out of Jim Lee's WILDSTORM Studios. Seeing Wetworks again after such a long time made me wonder why they are not a part of the current DCU. So much talent on show . Ryan Benjamin, Travis Charest, Bryan Hitch... the list goes on (and does). I would have loved to see this in a larger format. None the less its a brilliant book.

I truly thought it would be some great stories and a great way to revisit old characters that haven't been seen. 1st pages were a b&w reprint of wildcats #1??If you like artwork from the worlds best. Then take the binding off and pull the pages apart, this hardcover is made to last. I'm going to take the B&W apart and frame them for my walls. But if your thinking they... it's just okay. Batman V Superman movie kinda rating on this book.

it's missing Stormwatch!!!!. Nostalgia got the best of me. It's a great collectible item, but it would have been awesome if all the Wildstorm creators did a comic in this. but I really am glad I have it.

This is a great collection of amazing titles from Wildstorm! The only thing I wish it had more of is art by J. Scott Campbell, who truly shined during his years at the company. The book has a lot of great art, new illustrations and a perfect variety of all the famous titles. A must for any 90s comic fan!

Brought back memories of my teenage years anyone who grew up in the nineties and read anything wildstorm should read this

I loved the J. Scott Campbell Gen 13 mini, Brett Booth -Backlash mini and the Wildcats break down from the last series. Those new stories are the only reason to buy this book. But unfortunately it is filled with a ton of unnecessary black and white reprints of old issues. So if you can get at a discount go for it other wise it is not worth your time and money.

Una serie di storie della Wildstorm realizzate da vari disegnatori nel corso del tempo:- La qualità della carta è ottima, spessa al tatto e liscia,- sono presenti tutti gli autori della casa e alcune delle storie realizzate da disegnatori del carico di Jim Lee, che altrove non è piu' possibile reperire, qui sono presenti in tutta la loro bellezza,- sono presenti chine cosi' come tavole e storie a colori e pagine di presentazione con schede descrittive dei vari personaggi.Per tutti gli amanti dei fumetti è certamente una raccolta degna di nota, alcune storie sono un pò crude per le scene di combattimento mostrate, ma stiamo pur sempre parlando della Wildstorm.Consigliato.

Auch wenn man die Originalcomics hat, macht das Buch nicht nur wegen der wenigen unveröffentlichten Stories richtig Spass! Toller Rückblick auf eine spannende Ära.
