Excellent spare parts kit. Definitely have a few of them on my registry. Got to test it out with my Ameda Purley yours pump as well but as far the the AmedaJoyPlus everything fit as intended. I used my 7 year old valves ( the yellow ones in pictures) to see if that slight opening mattered with suction power, and it DID NOT matter.When the item arrived everything was disassembled. So hoses and white caps/white port that plugs into the pump must be put together. I suggest after putting them together run your finger along the white portions of caps/port to insure no air pockets between white ends and hoses.The suction is great. Had no issues and the small membranes I got did not have slight openings, although positive it wouldn't mattered since I tested it with my old ones. Like I said I'm going to get a few more and keep them on reserve.

I used the Medela Symphony at the hospital when I delivered and while my baby was in the NICU. I came home and was able to transfer use of the flanges and bottles to my spectra S1 by using the hose connection included in this kit. Unfortunately, I never got to actually use it (just set it up) because my cat ended up chewing a hole in the tubing, so I can’t comment on efficacy.

As many I got this kit mainly for the valves. Actually I got one kit, returned because the valves were open. I thought this was a problem because what everyone is saying on the internet. So since my second kit also had 3 open valves I wrote to Ameda's customer service and here is what the answered:Complaints of this type (valves slightly open) have been reviewed by our engineering department. They have assured us that a slight opening is correct. We have also had Moms use them without any issues.That said, the valves are supposed to have a slight opening. Additionally, the opening size, per specification, can vary slightly from valve to valve. I am more concerned with the one that does not have an opening. It may just be slightly stuck and will be just fine, but the edges should not lie flat against one another.We ask that you please use the valves. If they are not performing properly, please let us know ASAP and we will be happy to replace them.Please keep all the Ameda packaging you received them in. If there is a problem when you use them, we will send replacements. We will ask you to send back the valves and packaging you received them in. We will provide a prepaid return label for this purpose if it becomes necessary.So I tested all the valves and they all worked. I should have contacted the manufacturer first instead of returning something that was likely just fine.

Great set of extra peices to go with my pump!! I recommend getting this before you need it!

I buy these every time I need a replacementI Normally replace after 2 moths but im sure you could go longer depending on how much you pump

I ordered these because mine were wearing out. Items as described and fit fine. I just wish the packaging was a little better.

The spare parts for the kit actually seemed like better quality than what came with the pump. Maybe because it was a couple years later but I didn't use my pump very much the first time around. However I highly recommend being very careful while cleaning the valves because they tear easy and it affects the suction a little bit. Also I broke the tube connection on the bladder cap so be careful because they don't sell those by themselves and the connection is important. The tubing in this kit was so sturdy but after sanitizing it got a little cloudy but no big deal. Over all I like this brand I don't think it's that much different from the hospital quality but it is easier to clean than madela.

Remember that for the health and efficiency of your breast pump, it's important to replace these parts periodically (at least every 6 months for exclusively pumping mamas)

Worked as expected. Cleaned in streamer without any issues. I did not steam the tubing. Be careful when cleaning the valves so you don’t stretch them out. I used this for the Ameda rental machine from the hospital, prices were similar but no bottles with this kit (I didn’t need the bottles).

All 4 of the valves are open. I ordered this kit primarily for replacement valves but figured it wouldn’t hurt to replace the other parts as well, but now the valves are useless. My old valves are still closed despite being worn and seem to be made from a higher quality material.I’m now questioning the rest of the parts as well if they’ve switched to a cheaper supplier. It’s really unfortunate that there is no direct or clear way to reach customer service through Amazon as simply sending me replacement valves — which they sell separately — would likely solve this issue.I gave birth a week ago, am I really meant to go through the hassle of getting a return label printed somewhere and then going to the post office to return this kit and hoping the replacement isn’t equally useless? How about making sure your product is up to standard? Especially for an expensive breast pump. This is is annoying and unacceptable.
