Cole Haan Women's Single Breasted Travel Packable Rain Jacket

I love this jacket! It is generous enough to put over a jean or other lightweight jacket, has a draw string at the waist to adjust the fit and comes down to my mid thigh for good coverage. I also like that it has multiple pockets (one with a zipper). Best of all it is waterproof. It's a great jacket for travel as it is lightweight but blocks the wind so offers some warmth too.

I found it to be true to size and the fabric is of good quality and has an interesting hue, a subtle change.

This is a great lightweight coat. I got the largest size and was a little nervous because some brands their plus sizes don't seem like plus sizes. So I was happy when this fit a little roomy which is perfect when wearing a sweatshirt or bulky sweater underneath. Like the color and the hood stays on when I am out walking. The only reason I am not giving this 5 stars is because of the pockets. They are a bit too shallow and at the wrong angle so it doesn't quite hold my normal sized wallet correctly and it falls out. And it is easier for other items to fall out as well which I have never experienced with another coat before. Keys are fine but cell phone seems less secure.

I was looking for a rain jacket in black with a hood that would be lightweight and water resistant. This raincoat is entirely satisfactory. I ordered up a size in order to get a more roomy feel, and I am glad I did. The hardware on this jacket is gold, but it looks subtle, not cheap. I was not sure about the little bow in the back, but I made it work for me. I just put the two ties together and tied a simple knot which allows the coat to form a kind of pleat in the back without the girly bow. I am happy that this coat is mid thigh to just above the knee, as this provides more coverage in the rain. The hood is a bit large, but I can pull it back and use the elastic ties to get an OK fit. I also like the pocket with the zipper where I can stow things I want to be secure. All in all, this is exactly what I was looking for and I am very happy with the raincoat.

So, the regular XL was JUST too small across the shoulders. I would have liked to order an XXL, but they didn't have any in a color I'd want to wear.So I ordered the Women's Plus size in both XL and 2XL.They are both huge. Very long, and unlined. So you can see light through the seams. That could be a problem with rain. They feel more like a trench coat than a jacket.I think the regular XXL would have been the right size for someone who pretty consistently wears an XL.Also, I was so excited to see the pocket functionality with what LOOKED like a flap pocket, a side pocket, AND a zipper pocket. (My beloved jacket I just lost had all three on both sides. It was amazing.) But I went to open the flap pockets and realized, there's no pocket there. Only a flap. Why is there a flap with no pocket under it? I don't get it. So that makes the side pockets too shallow to be useful for more than hand warmers. And then you only have one zipping pocket. It's kind of disappointing.This jacket had SUCH potential. But it missed the mark.

This is exactly what I was looking for - a long, hooded, lightweight, good quality, packable raincoat.This is perfect for travel on top of a heavier jacket or coat in snowy weather, but works well on its own for warmer rainstorms. Has a detachable hood, good quality zipper, metal snaps over the zipper all the way up the collar, nice long sleeves over my fingertips, and it comes with (and easily packs into) a small pouch for travel. Could not be more please with this purchase.Highly recommended.

I really wanted to like this jacket, however, it was way too long on me and I'm about 5'5 (to below the knee), Also, the seam at the back was see-through when held up to the light. Now, I don't think I want a raincoat that allows me to look through the seam at the back. Not sure if that was a defect or if all the coats have this issue. If they do, I haven't seen it mentioned in any reviews.

I traveled with this jacket recently. It was very practical, I could pull it out of my handbag when needed. The color is pretty. Definitely waterproof.

Beautiful colour. Beautifully made. Very flattering in style for a rain jacket. Love the hood - kept the rain off my glasses! Ordered an XL to have room for a sweater underneath on chillier days. I just walked the dog in a pretty good rain shower and was astonished to see the water literally bead up on the fabric. I could just brush or shake off the beads of water - amazing! I am sincerely tempted to buy another one to stash away for the future. Not sure I will ever find one as terrific as this down the road.
