I ordered one of these earlier in the year to hang net curtains quickly for additional privacy while working from home. The previous one I had ordered from a different supplier arrived wrapped only in cling film and was bent. This one is much sturdier and was easy to put up. I was so impressed, I ordered two more this winter to hang additional thermal curtains. So far all good and I will be able to take them down again easily when the warmer weather returns. My daughter is contemplating buying some to put in a utility room to use as a clothes racks. I would think that they will be strong enough to support the weight of coats and the spring loading efficient enough to ensure that the pole remains in place.

Easy to fit no drilling required well made looks good

I’ve had it up for about 3/4 weeks now and once it’s been secured, it’s as sturdy as anything! I’ve got numerous pants, shirts and jackets hung up and not even a slight wobble. It’d be perfect in a bathroom but works perfectly in a wardrobe as well!

Good strong pole

The extendable shower pole was easy to fit and works fine structurally, but the quality of the finish is disappointing. The stainless steel end covers appear to be thin vinyl cover over plastic, and mine arrived damaged in several places with visible dents and marks. Might be fine if you’re not bothered about appearance, but I expected better quality control for the price.

The instructions to install this rod have no relationship to reality. You are told to compress it which is absolutely impossible.
