De'Longhi Argento Pyramid Kettle - Red.

For the price and brand of this kettle it should be more than just 'okay'. I'm trying to like it because it's the shape and colour I wanted but it has its drawbacks. The water gauge is behind the handle and awkward to see resulting in it being overfilled on two occasions and boiling water pouring out of the spout of its own accord! However, the biggest nuisance with it has been trying to get rid of the metallic taste left after the manufacturing of the kettle. I've had to keep re-boiling it and emptying just trying to get a cup of tea without that awful taste. I would finish by saying the jury's still out on this item...M Young

Absolutely rubbish..wasn't very good from start..but thought haho..maybe just bedding in...now bit fell off...

Filter fiddly to fit, poor water measure window, had a short life span 18 months, expensive, not value for money.

Filter fiddly to remove and clean; on/off switch large and paddle like - flimsy and switches off with slight knock; worst of all, leaked at bottom seam (where red meets silver) and left pools of water by electrics. Disappointing for such an eminent name. Also had an oil heater by De'Longhi which dumped all it's oil all over our kitchen floor! You don't always get what you pay for.
