I decided to try these walnuts on line as walnuts bought locally are small packets & quite expensive also very flaky & bitty. I'm pleased with these walnuts ,they are whole & tasty, I will definitely buy more.

Organic Walnuts Light
These Walnuts look good but only taste OK. The taste is not fresh. We don't know when they were picked or when they were shelled. They do NOT taste rancid. I think that Walnuts in particular, should be stored refrigerated once they are shelled to prevent them going rancid. We are not told what the word "light" means. Surely the fat has not been removed? The label tells us they are sold from Canterbury but this tells us nothing about where they come from or what organic means. I am not critisizing the company, it is the government that should lay down more strict rules on labelling.Delivery and package was good.

Not fresh. Too old and close to expiry date
I was so surprised when we first tasted this. tasted so awful. Not fresh at all. As if it was harvested years a go! This should not be sold to customers. It should be in the bin!
