Miaco Size 10, 12 and 16 (1.25", 1.5" and 2") Clipper Guide Comb Set fits Wahl Clippers

I've been cutting my hair for about 13 years, and recently recruited my girlfriend to do it for me because she didn't like my single length all the way around strategy. She was frustrated that the longest guard included with my Wahl Clipper was only 1 inch or size 8, because she wanted my hair longer on top. That's why I ordered these guards, so that we had a variety of lengths to choose from. In the end, we only selected the number 10, but perhaps in the future we will use the other lengths. I've seen a lot of reviews of these discussing how they're flimsy, and I can certainly imagine that they would be easy to break. You just have to be careful in how you handle and store them.

Received these almost a week before the expected delivery date. They were shipped in a padded envelope with one of those air bubble things and all three were undamaged. We used the 12 immediately to trim and even the pandemic pixie my husband gave me using an 8 guard a few months ago and were pleased with the results. I had read through the reviews so knew the liabilities: hubs was extra gentle putting the guard on and off the clippers and was careful to avoid scratching me with the sharper ends. He said it took a minute to figure out how to effectively get the hair into a much longer guard than he was used to, but it wasn’t difficult to adjust his technique to achieve a Mia Farrow-esque style for me.

They fit my wahl clipper well. But they do not have as many comb teeth as my standard guards so they are a little flimsy. Cut okay. I did have to go through and scissor cut my husband and son's cow licks as they cut folding over because of the length. It did help not take as long or require 3/4 as much hair cutting as usual. So in my book its a win because neither like to sit still long.

If you find the traditional set of included guards that come with most trimmers too short these are the answer. The longest one allows for a full hair cut 2 inches long! No more waiting for a buzz cut to "grow out a little" This gives you the ability to keep the top much longer without having to use scissors. Great for diy haircuts. Fits Wahl perfectly and stays on. Very happy.

Arrived without damage, fits the clippers as advertised, works as expected. In all, worth the money. The points of the guards were roughly finished and required some work with sandpaper or file to reduce the chance of scratching scalp. The snap on tab was a bit weak and will come loose if pushed hard.

I was worried these would be flimsy and break easily. Not so. They are well made and a perfect fit for Wahl shears, and no concern that they will break. I think they are a bit pricey for three pieces of plastic, though.

The guards were shipped fast. I feel they are durable although they feel flimsy compare to the guards that come with the clippers. I think the length of the guard may have something to do with it. I am sure they could make it sturdier, but price would increase drastically. Great to cut my own hair, no problems at all, would highly recommend.

I purchased these guards to help my pandemic haircuts look less severe and apocalyptic. I was worried about the quality of this product based on other Amazon reviews, but this is the only 2” guard I could find, so I gave it a try. I am really pleased with this product after my initial time using it on myself. The guards shipped in a box and not a bag, so unlike other reviews mentioned, my guards arrived completely intact. The plastic is less rigid than the guards that came with my Wahl clippers, but I was prepared for that based on other reviews. I gently attached and detached the guard to my clippers and it did not break. As others have mentioned, it’s difficult to feed your hair into the large guard to get an even cut, but my skills improved with practice, and by the end my cut came out even (cutting my own thick hair). I’m not skilled enough to use a comb yet, so I just held up my hair with my other hand to feed it into the clippers, and that worked fine.
