Art Deco Bronze Lighting Nora Kneeling Lamp Figure

Bought as a gift for my father. Gorgeous lamp, even nicer than expected. Noticed that the shade was cracked shortly after receiving it – we weren't sure if it had arrived broken or my father had broken it, so queried options and cost of replacement for the shade with the seller, who offered to replace it free without hesitation. Very impressed. Highly recommend.

Beautiful item - had wanted one of these for a long time and after seeing the original 1930s lamps cost around £600 decided I would just get a good reproduction. This is great quality, with a detailed solid bronze base. My only concern is that the spherical shade just rests on the supports so I’m worried it could easily get knocked off and broken. So I’m going to add some blu tack or tape for peace of mind.

I was a little wary of ordering this online but it is absolutely beautiful. It is a large, heavy item and the globe is made of thick glass. I have seen some similar lamps but the face hasn’t been right - I cannot fault this lamp at all. I am very pleased with my purchase.

The product listing says there is a bulb included - which there isn't. It also says the bulb fitting is type E27 - which it isn't. It takes a small bayonet fitting bulb (B15, I believe). This is rather a shame as the light looks great so far but we haven't been able to light it yet as the correct bulb is quite difficult to locate. We tried three large stores locally - Wickes, Tesco and Dunelm - without success. We have had to send for bulbs from Amazon and they will arrive tomorrow. In the meantime I will send a complaint to the supplier and see what response I get!!Update - the bulbs have now arrived and we are very happy with the lamp!!

I like this lamp very much, just be aware it’s not supplied with a bulb (I know most things aren’t) but the bulb is an unusual fitting it’s a small bayonet fitting and not many places stock them.The package arrived and was cunningly handed to me to hide damage to box I didn’t notice at first that the box had damage to the side I couldn’t see. This was a large gash on one side/corner. This was despite the box being clearly identified as fragile and a sticker saying “contains glass handle with care.Fortunately the gash wasn’t in the area of the glass globe and the packaging was substantial.So the lamp inside was not damaged but it was only by pure luck.It’s a lovely lamp

The arm of the lady does not hold the light ball up straight. This is annoying to look at, over time. We really should have returned it but thought another lamp might be the same. Buyers need to be aware of this when purchasing. See photo.

I was surprised and pleased by the lamp. It is weighty, and looks quite authentic. Bought it as a bedside light, it gives enough light to read by and not too bright. All in all a good piece.
