I first bought these at Stater Bros and I’ve been obsessed with them since! I always get the caramel flavor and they are so tasty. The chocolate has good richness that isn’t too overly sweet. These are the best when I need a mid-day boost but don’t want too much caffeine. A really nice surprise is that I noticed that when I eat these, I feel awake and clear-minded without any of the jitteriness or crash I get with coffee. It just gives me a very consistent and calm energy boost. Also, sometimes if I’m tired and I drink coffee, I feel awake but still too tired to think. With this, I actual feel like myself when I get good sleep. The only minor complaints I have are that these can get a little pricey, and that for some reason the chocolates have more caramel in the bag I purchased at Stater Bros vs. very minimal caramel in the bag I purchased on Amazon. I am a HUGE fan though!

The biggest problem I have with this product is simply that it's too easy to consume more than you should. It's so easy to eat these, you can consume more calories and caffeine than you intend. That isn't necessarily a bad thing. Keep them away from dogs! They are delicious and the caffeine perks you up really well. They are individually packaged with a resealable outer package. I bought a dark chocolate version at Costco for slightly less per bite, the excellent packaging when buying via Amazon explains the difference. This is an absolute must buy.

I am not getting paid or persuaded for this review, I just figured that since I have purchased these chocolates enough times, I should leave my review. My purchases arrive quickly, though I will say they arrive faster now that I purchase two bags at once. I am a milk chocolate fan so I can only speak for those and I think they taste great and now enjoy the milk chocolate variety pack. I have not had any issues with them melting, they are thick pieces of chocolate (especially the regular bars) and require at least two bites to be somewhat ladylike. The thickness also has the added benefit of making me slow down to eat them and allow the caffeine time to kick in. As for the texture of the chocolate, it seems like any normal chocolate bar should feel like (smooth without any waxy or dry crumbly reactions when bitten into). Most important though, they give me the energy I need to get moving. Since each chocolate is equivalent to half a cup of coffee, the energy surge is not too shocking to my system. However, you can always cut the chocolate in half if you are concerned for your own reactions to the caffeine. All ‘n all I find that they are an easy grab and go energy boost that I can throw into a purse or a bag.

Good tasting chocolate and caramel that gives you a little lift without giving you the shakes or jitters. Effects last a few hours. I usually take in the morning to help get me going.

They are delicious. But, if there is a dose of caffeine in it them, it's not even noticeable. But they are good...but pricy for a candy that should wake me up some. Even a little. But I get nothing.

My guilty pleasure!!! Happy to have a little caffeine and chocolate all in one. Bought this for my knee surgery recovery. As I’m not weight bearing for 6 weeks I didn’t want to keep getting up to go to the bathroom. 😂

Everyone at my office loves these. This is the best flavor because the caramel makes it softer than the solid ones.

A waste. I don't use caffeine alot. One cup of coffee a day or every other day. I got these for driving. If I get a tired spot on the road. I was feeling really tired on a 2hr trip. I was only 30 minutes in , I took 1 no effect, so I took another, it made me so tired , I had to stop at a gas station , and get a coffee. Chocolate tastes good. But I would have to say, these are not quality controlled or tested, and I would say they have the caffeine equivalent of a piece of chocolate. A few milligrams. No way they have 50 milligrams per piece. Out of the 50 pieces in the bag , one milligram per piece sounds about right. Not 50 per piece. A waste of $40.

I worked night shifts as a janitor when I got these; two pieces of chocolate kept me going for my whole shift without giving me jitters. Normally I'd need at least 2-4 cups of coffee to pull that off; to top it off, the chocolates are delicious! The caramel is my favorite and it took a lot of discipline to stop myself from only having two, lest I end up bouncing off the walls. Highly recommend to my fellow graveyard shifters as a quick coffee alternative!

Taste great, and work well. I like the variation, as the same kind would get boring. Peanut butter is the best!

I love these things! They are a great afternoon pick me up when your energy levels is dropping and they are especially good to bring on strenuous activities like hikes. I always have them on hand in my backpack and they have saved me a couple times when my energy levels felt non existent. The peanut butter one is my favourite then the original then the caramel. All good though!

Great flavours. Great way to get some caffeine for someone who doesn’t like coffee.
