This jar opener has a good concept but doesn’t adjust enough for smaller jars like jam etc. Get a silicone gripper pad and save yourself the trouble.

I am a single 69-year-old woman, and I finally found a product that allows me to be more sufficient! I can open my jars myself now!I was embarrassed having to contact my next door neighbor, and ask him to open jars I couldn't open.I read many reviews about many products before I chose this product. Many people in the same circumstances as I am found it very helpful, so I took a chance, and ordered one.What works best for me is to hold on to the jar itself with a rubber grippy cloth, and set it between my knees while I am turning the crank.

Simple design. Small profile and best of all it opened a jar on one try after I tried to open it multiple times over a week.

Don't work that well.

This little jar opener is great!Almost better than battery powered ones, we have had several of them and this little guy works excellant!

Works well if you use one hand to hold it onto the lid, and one to turn the handle. If container wants to turn, you need a third hand.

This gadget is awesome but does not work well on slippery caps. But on all other type jars and bottles it works great and a real lifesaver for weak hands.

You have to be careful to POSITION opener properly on the lid before you start clamping. Otherwise it will slide out from the lid. Generally, opening jar is very easy

This is very easy for my wife to use with her weak hands. Good product.
