These crowns are a great value. The crowns are made of a metal material and the rhinestones are of good quality. The round holes for pinning are securely attached to the rim of the crowns. Both the men's and women's fit perfectly. Note that these are to be pinned to the top of the head - not worn around the head like a headband. I think that is why many reviewers claim they do not fit.
