I had my doubts about this type of break. after using it I found this break to be a very effective stopping method for my go kart I only have one drive wheel in the rear and it can lock it up at Will I am impressed durability is cool I only have one break and it's on that one rear wheel so there's a lot of weight for it to get woed up. So I do plan on going through bands but I'm prepared for that when I go through bands I just know it's working. Is one thing to get my go kart going it's a whole Nother ball game to get it to stop that's the most important thing

I PUT ON A MINI BIKE IT WORKS FINE.

The product itself is probably fine but there is no way to attach it to a drive shaft without a hub that has bolt holes. The cable is too thin for use as a brake cable. I was afraid the cable would snap after use. Ultimately I ended up throwing this away and getting a hydraulic master cylinder for my brakes. It just didnt have enough stopping power as only 2/3 of the surface are ever touching and the hub surface doesnt grab well. Durability might have been fine with the exception being the cable. The quality was fine, but didnt have enough stopping ability. For light karts, this is a good deal. For a heavier manco or something with a roll cage top, get hydraulic brakes. Your child and their mother will thank you.

Amazing product. Fit perfectly with my go kart engine and was easy to put on. Didn’t take long nor that much tools. Would definitely recommend this product.
