The product is strong and much bulkier, which is good as my old one seemingly corroded and snapped minus anything actually being able to touch it (not the same cable as this product). The sound quality from the cable is pretty decent, I run my astro A50 through it.Cable length is good, assuming you don't buy the shortest options.It does its job.

Excellent for the price. Connected my Samsung soundbar to my LG smart tv. The sound seems to be good so thumbs up for this.

I've owned this DAC a few times now for different systems and when I've decided to do some box swapping the DAC's gone as well... But I always come back to it!I've owned the Rega DAC, MF M1DAC (Async version), Matrix Mini DAC, Firestone Audio Spitfire MkII DAC etc... and they're all superb but the FiiO REALY holds it's own as well. Havent heard a DAC, apart from these mentioned, that betters the FiiO unless going up to the higher prices, even 2nd hand you'd still have to spend £150-£200 to better the FiiO in my opinion...Yes it needs a good running in; I'd say 2-3 days non-stop of use or 2 weeks of normal use would be needed.Soundstage is taut, deep and punchy with no harshness to the treble or midrange. Vocals are clear and preciseIt's a tiny DAC and can either be powered by the mains adapter that comes with it or it'll be powereed via USB (i.e. Mac, Tivo box etc...).I've got mine currently for my desktop system using some Audioengine A5+ bamboo speakers and my 2012 Mac Mini (just remember to get the optical adapter if connecting to the Mac's audio out)

Good used to connect a Samsung blue ray surrounded sound system to a TV looked at a store price was going to be 13 pound website price read another review said get more length than needed got four have system on 1st shelf below 50 inch TV cable came early than predicted a day after despatch had sound bar Goodman's before my old TV was Samsung let use sound bar on every thing as old TV had audio out new TVs don't have this now this cable not look feel ceap looking good quality I can run can back of DVD to TV with one cable directly plugged in no change over and get surround sound on free view x box and my Amazon fire stick by just change over straight to HDMI 1 to 3 or my free view sound clear lovely

Good cable, well made, clicked in well into the optical housing without too much force needed.
