dont recommend
DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM!! It doesn't work, and not is returnable. Amazon was kind enough to refund my money. When I saw that the instructions were written in very broken English, it was a red flag from the beginning. Magnets do not work, it's a fake black strip on the lash.

These would be awesome, if I could just get them on!
First, I should disclose that I'm older and my vision isn't great. But I really wanted to try false eyelashes and these looked like good candidates. It took me a good long while to figure out how these work, so I'm going to save you all that brainpower and just tell you that each eyelash is really two eyelashes that stick together magnetically, like sandwich bread on either side of your existing top lashes.A tool is provided for this action and it's alot like a eyelash curler. You also get some clear mascara to curl and stiffen your existing lashes, so the magnetic lashes can latch on to them. The product description says these take a lot of practice, and boy they are not kidding about that. I tried for an hour and got one eye done, and not done all that well, but done well enough to know if I could actually apply the lashes, they would look very nice! The problem, for me at least, is that I have very few existing lashes, and I just don't have the vision to complete this application to my satisfaction. I won't blame the product for my shortcomings, though. These would look lovely -- soft and realistic -- not too long or short, if I could only get them on!

Could not get them to work well at all.
• Would I get it again or recommend it to others and why:-No, I could not get them to work well or go on at all. I tried and tried and could never get them to work. They were impossible for me to get on at all, the magnets didn’t work properly.-However, if you have your own magnetic liner or lash glue, the lashes themselves are very nice and might work that way, but I'm not quite sure and wouldn’t risk it.• Style, brand and version:-Brand: SIMER-Style: upgrade magnetic lashes-Sweet Girl Style• Included:-1 lash case-1 lash applicator device-1 set of lashes (a set for the right and left eye, it's a 2 piece set not 4 sets of lashes, just 1 for each eye)-1 tube of clear lash gel (it may be more of a cleaner as it's pretty much just strong alcohol and burns on the lashes)• Presentation:-Very nicely presented. The outer carton is nice as is the lash case.• Quality, value and how well it works and functions:-The lash case is very nice and the lashes themselves seem very nice.-However it's a poor value and performs poorly because unless you are far more skilled than I was, or use your own magnetic liner (none is included) or lash glue-it's impossible to get the lashes on.• Scent:-There was no unpleasant scent to the lashes, case or applicator.-However, the clear tube of lash gel had a very, very strong alcohol odor and it burns the eyes. I think it's not meant to go on your natural lashes, but as a cleaner for the faux lashes.• Pros:-Nicely presented in a nice case.-The lashes themselves look very nice.• Cons:-The directions aren't the best and don't make it easy to figure out. I never could get it to work.-The lash gel in the tube is harsh and mostly alcohol and burns, I think it's not a lash gel at all but a faux lash cleaner.-No magnetic eyeliner is included.-They are very, very difficult to work with and are not for beginners. I could not get them on my eyes. I tried many times in various ways. It was difficult to even get them on the applicator or the magnets to stick together. I tried two different sets thinking the lash tool magnets were wrong, and I never could get them to work at all.• Tips & Thoughts:-The lashes are a set that go together above and below your top lashes on each eye and are labeled right and left, upper and lower.-You're not getting 4 pairs total, just 1 set (of 2 pieces) for each eye, right and left.-It may be possible to make it work if you have your own magnetic eye liner or lash glue.• Impressions:-I tried and tried and could not get the lashes on at all, they didn't want to stick together or go on my lashes. They were very, very difficult to work with. I don’t see how anyone gets them on their eyelashes.-They might work if you have your own magnetic eyeliner or lash glue though.

The magnet broke off
I wanted to love these eyelashes but 5 days in and a chunk of the magnet broke off one of the strips and will no longer stay in place. I was careful I'm putting them on, taking them off and cleaning them. So disappointing.

EVEN A MAKEUP DUNCE LIKE ME CAN APPLY THESE
I must be the worst person when it comes to apply eyelashes. I've tried every technique and I'm just terrible at it. I'm also messy with it. Glue where I don't want glue. But also, as a mother, I don't have the time to keep messing up and reapplying, so I tend to give up and go out with bald lashes.I like how these came packaged. Sophisticated looking...feels like a luxurious brand, a quality product. The container for the eyelashes is convenient but also pretty. I'm able to store them and not worry about losing them after just one use. The tools are useful. Sturdy. Helped me out some.Application was okay. Yes, I still need a lot of help. I'm just not very good at this stuff....but I think many of us are in the same boat. I've practiced. Still practice and I've gotten better. I really like that this is a big kit with everything I need because it reassures me I have the product to actually practice application. I wish applying these would be easier but I guess with the tools it's far more helpful than without. Once on they feel good. Lightweight. They look good. Nothing too dramatic but I'm fine with that. Pulling them off is a bit weird. I am just worried about removing my natural lash but the same can be said about the glue kind.

Nice packaging, but difficult to apply
I've had this product for a while and have not successfully worn it once, although it could also be my own skills wearing lashes. I normally don't wear false lashes because I don't want glue near my eyes, so I thought it'd be cool to try these magnetic ones. The packaging is very nice (especially for the price point - although I received these for free thanks to Vine), and it comes with its own lash applicator that resembles a normal curler. Unfortunately, no matter how many times I tried, I couldn't get the lashes to attach correctly or stay on for more than a few blinks. In theory, this is a great alternative to using glue/adhesive for lashes, except they wouldn't stay on my lashes even if I used my fingers to try and put them on. Also, I know everyone has different eye shapes, so maybe this also played a role in how the lashes fit me (they were top and bottom full lashes for each eye, not individual), since the curler and the lashes didn't align correctly with my eyes -- hence why I tried to apply them manually with my fingers (it didn't help much).

Product does not work.
The packaging is beautiful and the quality of the lashes is terrific, but the application is impossible. The magnets do not line up on the applicator. The magnets on the applicator prevent the magnets from working. They work well if the applicator is not there BUT you cannot put them on without it. There is no online tutorial which screams "red flag" for the company knowing this is quite cutting it. Had high hopes for these ones but a total disappointment. Returning!
