I've been struggling with patellar tendonitis for at least 4 months. I am training fir hyrox so being able to run is super important. Running pre Dr Arthritis was definitely hard and painful on the knees, it felt like a real hobble and a limp to get round. After reading through the various products available, braces, sleeves etc I thought I'd give this a go since it looked less cumbersome. Today is the first day of wearing for a run and I must say what a difference! Comfortable and supportive and really seeming to disapate all the shock through the knee. Highly recommend. Great price, informative booklet. My only regret is not buying this sooner.

I have grade 4 arthritis in both knees and need knee replacements but I’m only 36 so have to wait till I’m older!! I find other knee supports frustrating as I get hit and they fall down and bunch at the back. I had excruciating pain on my left knee and was struggling to weight bear. The pain was waking me in the night and was making life hard. I researched into knee supports and thought for the price this was that it was worth giving it a go. Wow I am so pleased I did. It stopped movement and gave support while staying where I put it. I have fat legs and it fit - comfortably. I did not have any issues if the Velcro rubbing. I even put it on for pain relief when my pain woke me in the night. The book that came with gives good exxersizes. I have had lots of physio over the years but a reminder of the exercises and come erect way of doing them was appreciated. I also received e-mail support. I have recommended this to a friend who also has knee problems. I would consider buying a second one so when I wash it I have one to use. It really works. The best pain relief and investment for my knees. Everyone is different but this definitely worked for me. I realise this is a glowing review. I did pay for this product and was dubious to start. This is a truly genuine review that I hope helps others.

If you’re someone like me who suffers from regular knee pain and clicking of the joints resulting in knee flaring up; and leaving the whole knee area in pain. Can reduce the ability to walk and bend down properly without feeling some pain or discomfort in the knee. There is a solution for people suffering from Patellar tendonitis (jumper’s knee), Patellofemoral pain syndrome (runner’s knee), Chondromalacia patellae, Iliotibial band syndrome, Patellar tracking, and Generalised knee pain. By wearing an expertly designed knee brace by Doctors, from Doctor Arthritis brand; they include a helpful handbook that gives you information on treatment tips, rehabilitation and exercises. Dr Arthritis is a specialised healthcare company, by two Doctors practising at St Mary’s Hospital. My first impression of the product was that it packaged nicely and the knee brace was compact in a small box, with other contents such as the Handbook. I must say that I like the touch and feel of this product; it’s rather smooth. The brace itself doesn’t require much adjusting simply unstrap the Velcro, nicely sliding it through plastic rings. Then adjusting the brace under your knee cap, and tightly strapping the Velcro around your knee; so that it doesn’t move or slide down when moving around. So, is this product any good for my knee pain? After trying on this knee brace, I have realised that this product works differently to other people, and sadly this product has little to no effect on me. In hindsight, I have also noticed that the plastic rings, will brush against the back of my knee and feels discomforting; to resolve this, I move it down slightly. This brace does help me walk properly and reduces my knee clicks. As it does keep the Patellar in place; however, it doesn’t do anything for my knee pain or discomfort.

The strap feels OK when first put on but I found it quickly becomes uncomfortable. I feel the design is slightly flawed in the traps attaching to the front piece are too narrow. The cushioned front is nice,comfortable and feels of good quality but it attaches to velcro adjustable straps on either side which are connected via a relatively narrow plastic buckle. In order to feel any relief I felt I needed to have the strap fairly tight (sensibly) and in doing so the side pieces dig in and rub. Additionally because of how narrow the sides are they have a tendency to twist. The quality of the velcro straps feel to be of far lower quality than the front. I developed patellofemoral osteochondral defects through running. Kinesiology tape is brilliant in elevating the patella creating more joint space and consequently alleviating pain- it is however more of a hassle to put on. The strap goes on very quickly but due to the short time after which it becomes uncomfortable and the reduced pain relief/support it now gets very limited if any use. I would advise those looking at this item to instead look towards kinesiology tape of which Amazon sell loads of different brands. Yes it is harder and more time consuming to put on but is a far more supportive and versatile product. ************ Update Contact from the seller who seem extremely supportive and helpful. They plan on refunding the item with replacement for a new brace that hopefully will fix the above described problems. My original rating is based on the strap received but I will happily review both rating and review of the new item. ********** Further update Despite what is mentioned above about the seller planning on sending out the revised item and providing a refund neither of these promises were fulfilled.

I find these make it easier and less painful to walk. I can walk further too. Recommended.

J'utilise pour mes séances de sport/ muscu/ burning/ front squat. Un peu grand mais je suis petite 1m50 pour 50 kilos je dois trouver une stratagème pour bien les serrer mais pour quelqu'un de taille "normal" font très bien leur job

La compre ya que tengo un dolor en l rodilla y me lo recomendaron para poder correr. La verdad que la he usado un par de veces y el dolor lo ha aliviado bastante. No se cae. Se sujeta bien. La cogí en rosa pensando q iba a ser menos rosa. Parecía más color carne que rosa. Pero esta muy bien.

Buon prodotto, morbido e rigido allo stesso tempo. Si sopporta bene e supporta bene l rotula. Ottimo per me che ho la rotula "ballerina"
