Beautiful clear calendar very fesTiverton scene. Put me in the Christmas spirit as soon as it arrived. Beautifully drawn with lovely touches like the nativity scene and the cat chasing the mouse is like the way the windows to open were actually the windows in the picture . A very nice touch . A little bit of glitter along the window sills added to the magic

I like my Advent Calendars to have a religious theme but not necessarily a crib scene from 1st December . People on Amazon have complained that various Advent Calendars were smaller in real life. A complaint that cannot be thrown at this one. It is vibrant. At first I found the figures a bit childish and the numbers on windows very large but I will live with these minor irritations (being on the wrong side of 30 and childless) for the magnificent cathedral and courtyard alone. There is also a lot going on to keep one busy and entertained throughout the whole of December. I look forward to opening the windows.

I ordered this and when it arrived, the back had been fitted upside down, meaning there was just white space behind the windows. Sent it back to Amazon who refunded me, however 2 days later a perfect calendar plus an advent calendar card and envelope arrived direct from the maker. There was no note, but I assume this was to make up for the disappointment. It has restored my faith in Alison Gardiner and I'll always by her calendars from now on.

Good quality and a lovely picture but the doors were near impossible to open without having to remove the calendar from the wall every day and use the edge of scissors to open the door.

Good quality, bought for my mother in law to bring some festive cheer. A s its not Decemeber yet I cannot comment on the images in the windows. Looks good though.

These advent calendars are always fantastic, our son has a new one each year, he really likes the Alison Gardiner ones

Really enjoyed this calendar... it was lovely picture of Cathedral with snow scene. The pictures behind the windows were good and lots had a religious theme which is what I wanted... so there were the Magi.... Camels... Angels... as well as more traditional things like xmas pudding, robin, wreath etc.

Disappointing window pictures and very hard to open.
