The HDMI port does work with Samsung Tab S2 and all other MHL supported devices (i.e. not galaxy S6 or S7). However the build quality is incredibly poor. There is always a connection problem between the tablet and the TV because of the poor quality of the 11p adaptor that is required to plug the main adaptor into the tablet. Thus the hdmi connection keeps dropping off as soon as you try to re-position the tablet. I do not recommend that anyone waste money buying this product. I shall be spending some more money and getting a better quality adaptor instead.

The hdmi but works ok, but I brought this to connect a keyboard and mouse and it doesn't work at all, wasted my money!!Does anyone know how to get the red light to turn blue because mine don't when I press it?Amazon will not let me contact seller either

An excellent bit of kit and smart looking. Works as advertised and the instruction sheet is easy to follow. All parts fit well together. An extremely good picture quality from my Samsung Galaxy S4 playing films through Flixster. Would buy from again.

Very handy if you break your touch screen, can plus a mouse into the adapter and away you go

Perfect as it says on the tin this product is god send when used with HDMI and power adapter and connected to a TV lol wow the picture is Blue-ray quality at 60fps enough said.

Does not work in my Samsung tablet. I keep it just to transfer pics from different cards to tablet.

Yeah... it doesn't really work. Tried it with my S3 and had no luck connecting any device or display.
