An inexpensive luxury for your miniature painting hobby
This little machine packs quite the power. I use the mixer it for mixing my miniature hobby paints. It couldn't be easier to use, with just a few seconds pressing down on the soft silicone cone you're ready to go. It helps to press both the base and the tip of the bottle to ensure the metal ball bearings vibrate throughout and you get an even mix. I found that if I only pressed the base, sometimes paint would get trapped in the tip and not mix thoroughly. The unit is very quiet, especially for the power it provides in shaking the paint. There were many models priced much higher, but this was a great deal for the price. The mixer worked so well, I ended up purchasing a second for my son. If you haven't experienced a vortex mixer for your paints you are doing yourself a disservice. The quality of the mix you achieve vs shaking bottles by hand are a big difference. Especially on colors that tend to separate with time (some grays, blues, purples). Do yourself a favor and give this mixer a try.

Great for miniature paints--works perfectly!
Works like a charm for Vallejo, Army Painter, and Citadel paints for wargaming/Warhammer. It doesn’t take up much space, and mixing is super effective. Someone suggested flipping the paint pots or dropper bottles and mixing both sides--I tried it and it’s a fool-proof method without adding any extra time. Easy to use, some noise of course (but nothing terrible), good value for money (and time saved shaking paint pots by hand), and works quickly. Solid choice for hobbyists.

Works good. Sometimes you just need to find the angle to make it work.

Shake It Up!
I live this! My makeup requires mixing prior to each use. I used to walk around and shake it for two minutes, this is much faster! Thank you for another way to mix up liquids in bottles! Works great with nail polish as well!

Definitely worth it.
Not going to lie. It’s better than having to jerk off a bottle for 1-3 minutes getting your arm tired. I still shake the bottle at first but then use it right side up and then upside down to get a good mixture. I’ve seen people only needing to use it one side or the other for less than 20 seconds but I mix the hell out of the paints. I use this for Army Painter paints and Warhammer brand paints and I’m a newb and this really helps. I also have hand issues so doing a grip motion on a pen let alone a bottle that small hurts after a short bit so this HELLA helps preserve as much hand strength for the craft that I can. Definitely worth every penny.

Mixes small paint pots, artist inks, tattoo inks, and skin care products
I bought this primarily to mix small hobby paint containers and it works great. I then tried it on some glass ink bottles, tattoo inks and washes. This is a durable tool when used properly. The motor and offset mixing mechanism do all the work. I don't need to apply much pressure to get the mixer to start and then I just gently hold the container. This kit comes with mixing balls and one can be placed in the container to aid in mixing, and works especially well for thick paints and ones that seem to separate easily. -- I have a skin care product in a small bottle, separates easily, but difficult to mix. The mixer worked great on this bottle and in just 10 seconds, compared to manually shaking for two minutes.

Didn’t last.
Worked exactly ten times. Worked awesome when I got it but after using it ten times in three weeks it slowed down and just quit. I shouldn’t have been so cheap and got a good one in the first place.
