Great Seed Starter Trays with Thoughtful Design!
The YAUNGEL Seed Starter Trays are a perfect choice for starting seeds indoors. They have a standard size that fits well in my setup, and the separate base and cell trays help maintain soil moisture without overwatering, which reduces stress on delicate seedlings. The heightened lid is a fantastic feature—it provides extra protection and allows me to keep fast-growing seedlings covered for longer. Sturdy, well-designed, and great for indoor gardening!

Great seed starter especially for newer gardeners
East to use, quality capacity and wonderfully functional seed starters. The water retention is just enough to get your seeds going right. The size is deep and works well for seeds that may require a bit more space to grow. Overall, I highly recommend this starter as it had my garden going right this year.

Sturdy but lid slides off easily when lifting
This product is very sturdy and a fair price point for the quality at $16 for 10pk. Pictures say it all in regards to sturdiness. Yes, that is a very thick and heavy dictionary on top of the bottom trays. Durability? Only time will tell...however, because of how thick the material is, I think it will last many uses. Yay mother earth! Plus according to Yaungel, it'll tolerate temp's below 48C or 118F. Tools included (2) will make it super easy to plant the seeds. Usually I resort to using chopsticks to make the hole and a plastic spoon to "shovel" in the dirt (it makes a bit of a mess and takes forever). Love the high dome space, gives the sprouts room to grow and breathe, as well as time to grow. Not sure how easy it will be to remove the plant. The top/dome is not supposed to snap on. I have no idea why people are complaining about the lid not clasping on? No where does it say there is a clasping lid feature...if you want a snap on lid then get a food container (what I reuse) or plastic storage box. (Update: Because it's hard to grip the lid properly, and it sliding off easily, it broke my rare beet sprout when I tried to lift the lid.)

Working Well
This set has been working very well this spring. I like the cute little tools that came with it, as well as the plastic labels. Each box has three parts: a part for the growing plant, a second "shell" that catches the water, and a lid that can adjust airflow. The only problem is that the plants outgrew the lid pretty quickly. (Hello, sunflowers.) The set is sturdy, and I anticipate continuing to use it. I may even try growing microgreens in it.

Great Mini Green House Seed Starter Kits
These work really great for me and have reused them throughout the seed starting season and across years. If you clean and store them properly they will last for half dozen plantings or more. They do not so well in excessive heat or intense sun exposure. They do work well on heated starter mats. Easy for kids gardening projects to use.

Seems sturdy and looks good.
Used them indoors this spring to start patio tomatoes. Easy to move individual trays. Good material. Reuseable. Good water retention.

Great for growing, not great for keeping curious pets out
I used these to start all my vegetables and flowers this year. I got them for the higher lids (about 3 1/2" for room for your sprouts to grow) to really give my plants time to get healthy before I moved them. They did the job well! My setup- these planters and a grow light. I used them to start all my squash and tomatoes, as well as my morning glory vines. The reason I am giving 3 starts- the vent lids that come to adjust air flow in the top do not click into place... they just sort of rest over the holes. They were constantly coming off. Second, the lids themselves don't 'click' on, the just rest on the base. This might just be a me problem, but once my cats figured out they could flip off the lids and graze on my plants- they did. I had to tape them on (cats really love eggplant and tomato sprouts, btw). Overall- these did a great job. Everything the cats didn't eat I was able to successfully move to the garden after the frost and I have had 100% survival of all my transplanted plants! They held up well and I was able to clean them all out, and these planters are tucked away for next year (but with more tape to keep the cats out).

Good quality
Am very happy that the quality of the plastic is good. The plastic isn't amazing, just good. With minimal care they should last many years. I had a large tray that was flimsy and it was less than ideal. These are small enough to be manageable. I am impressed with the bottom tray. It has 2 levels. Some parts are risen, allowing the water to drain away from the lower roots. That way they won't drown. Two problems though. The top circle that opens/closes the ventilation isn't already attached and it's impossible to attach it. It has a little knob in the center that should fit into the hole in the dome. It looks like it should fit but I just don't have the strength to press it in. I'm a weakling, though. I might just cut a little notch in the dome and it'll fine. Second, be aware that the cells are smaller than you think. Only one seedling per cell. Basically, I don't think either problems amount to much. I'm really happy with the purchase. Would gladly pay more and consider this a great deal.
