I always wanted a Cabbage Patch Doll growing up but never did get one! So when I saw some were for sale on Amazon, I immediately grabbed them up! I'm just hoping more will be for sale on Amazon soon! I love the 16 inch Cabbage Patch Dolls the most and this doll is beautiful and her dress is gorgeous. She smells amazing like baby powder and she has the cutest smile. I adore her! I even kept the box and the birth certificate inside of it.

I love this doll and it made the perfect gift for my grand-daughter. She always takes mine and asked for one of her own. When she opened it, she was so super excited. She is 5 years old and loves dolls, but this isn't a barbie or baby doll. It is a cabbage patch doll - something different and perfect!

My adult daughter with intellectual disabilities LOVES Cabbage Patch kids. I remember standing in long lines and paying premium prices to get her one when she was a child and they first came out. She also loves Florida State. Our local store had a Cabbage Patch doll with an FSU outfit on, but they wouldn't sell us the doll at any price. We got the outfit for my granddaughter, and when she outgrew it, we put it on the Cabbage Patch doll and sent it to my daughter. When she got it, she asked me if I had a he birth certificate: She remembered!

During a recent visit, my 2-year-old great niece took a real liking to my circa-1984 Cabbage Patch doll (Josie Karel :-)). I wanted to give her her own Cabbage Patch doll for Christmas. After failing to find the same type of Cabbage Patch doll with the yarn hair in the stores, I turned to Amazon and, as usual, was not disappointed. The Cabbage Patch doll is almost identical to my almost-40-year-old version and, with yellow yarn hair, looks like my great niece (like my doll looked like me before my hair started turning gray LOL). I rated the Value for Money at 3 stars because it's neither a grand bargain nor exorbitantly expensive. However, the gift giving anticipation is definitely 5 stars!

My daughter is 8 and has a friend who inherited some "vintage" cabbage patch kids. They became my daughter's favorite while playing with her friends dolls. I could only find the smaller version in the stores. The new cabbage page kids are not as authentic looking or sturdy. This cabbage patch kid is the same size as the vintage ones and pretty sturdy given how poorly everything is made these days. I actually was able to dig out my old cabbage patch kids from the 80s (thanks, mom) and in comparison, this is not a bad re-make at all. The older ones have a material that is a bit thicker and denser but all in all, this is an excellent reproduction. If they had other styles (boys, babies, different color hair, etc) I would not hesitate to order. If you are trying to find something akin to what we had in the 80s for your kids...this a very good choice.

All I can say. About this doll. I'm so glad you had it cause you made my daughter very happy. She's wanted 1 ever since she was a little girl and she is now 47. She literally cried when she opened it.
