Great quality wireless instrument transmitter/receiver
Lekato calls this a wireless guitar system, but I use it for my synth keyboard. The 1/4" phone plug transmitter piece plugs into the instrument (whether it be guitar, synth, or anything else that has a 1/4" phone jack) and the 1/4" phone plug receiver piece plugs into the amplifier or PA speaker (in my case, an Electro Voice Everse 8 PA speaker). I did a test where I listened carefully to the sound coming out of the PA speaker using first a cord and then using this wireless transmitter/receiver pair. I really could not hear a difference. I also did not notice any lag in response to my playing. Lekato claims that the transmitter and receiver will run for 5 hours when fully charged, but that may be a little optimistic. To be safe, if you are going to use this setup on a gig you might want to plug the transmitter and receiver into the docking unit on breaks. Speaking of the docking station, it has a built in battery too which allows you to charge the transmitter/receiver pieces without having to plug the docking station into wall power. That's very convenient. You often hear stories about wireless systems dropping out or breaking up, and I experienced no problems whatsoever with this Lekato set. I've had no dropouts, no distortion, no issues at all. I think this is a great little system and an excellent value.

FREEDOM!!! Jam without cables.
Works great. Easy to charge and easy to pair. I'm transmitting my bass guitar to my pedal board and there is no noticeable delay and all of my effects sound normal. I charged the main unit and the Trans/Rec units and then unplugged it and manually turned it off. After band practice last night, I put the Trans/Rec units in the charger and it turned on automatically and started charging them. Once they were fully charged again, the main unit turned itself off. I think I can get 4-5 band practices of recharge without plugging in the main unit until I have to repeat the process. The price was a big selling point for me. Other wireless systems are expensive and I'm on a budget. I was hesitant but I figured I could return it if it turned out to be junk. So far it is not junk. I'll update this review if anything changes my opinion. You will need to buy a special USB Power Adapter. I tried some I had lying around the house and they did not work. It needs 5V2A specifically. Here's the one I purchased on Amazon and it works: USB Wall Charger FOBSUNLAND ®. USB Wall Plug 5V 2A AC Power Adapter Compatible with iPhone, Pad, Samsung, Tablet, Kindle and More (White 2 pack)

Perfect so far.
So far, working great. Sound is excellent with no drop outs or noise. No interference yet either. Have used twice now in church environment with many other wireless microphones and other instrument wireless connections, including wireless connection to church sound system from our EAE amp & mixer. These are so simple - basically on-off operation. Everything else is automagic. Easily handle the continuous 2 hour use for mass. Keep in mind that the sound quality is perfect in a church environment and no studio environments have been tested. Time will tell but so far perfect. One note - the charging ports are the older micro-USB but supplied dual charging cable works great.

Lekato JW-06 Wireless Guitar System is Worth Twice the Price!!!
I remember when wireless guitar systems were 5-times as expensive with half the features. This Lekato wireless system is very easy to set up and works well in my home recording studio (20x24 feet). I use a more expensive Audix system when I play live because the frequency spectrum gets used up quickly, but this Lekato system sounds just as good. It's built well and connects to all of my different guitars and basses appropriately. I don't notice any latency, and the comparison between playing through the wireless system and playing with a Monster cable shows no discernible difference on my oscilloscope (or my ears). Battery life is no issue (I'm usually tired before the battery is), and the storage/charging station for both the transmitter and receiver keeps the system ready to use. If you're looking for a very reliable, well-made, and definitely inexpensive wireless system, you can't go wrong with the Lekato JW-06.

Great system at a great price!
I've been using this system for 2 months with NO issues! I use it in our worship team. The battery life has had no problems. I have had no problems with interference or drop out. No latency issues either.I have it on and off from 7am - 1pm. We have and rehearsal and 2 services. I turn it off in between rehearsal and services. Our worship sets often go over 1 hour. I have recently retired my Lekato system to my studio. One of the other guitarists want to go wireless too. So I bought the Xvive system. It has 4 channels, so there should be no interference issues. Back to the Lekato. Would I recommend it? Absolutely! If you are on a budget, or just wanna try out a wireless system, this is the one to go with.

This is a Winner!
Easy setup to pair transmitter to receiver (Instructions said it should just work but had info to solve if not) and it works great! No loss in audio levels or tone like another model I tried and no perceivable lag. Im just a home player but was able to walk across the house and not drop sound. I love the power switch being on the side of the unit so no turning over to locate to turn on and off and the pivot on each unit is nice and firm so it holds its folded position and wont flop around. Time will tell on battery life but I like the charging process of the light turning off when fully charged. Well thought out units.

Five star performance and I am happy
I was extremely pleased with the sound quality I've read some of the reviews where they have expressed that the sound was different using a wireless unit as compared to a guitar cable and I found no difference whatsoever All of the expression that I pursue to convey through bins and alternative picking came through wonderfully the distance of the reception was excellent I I have experimented and I've played from 150 feet away absolutely great sound quality I'm not sure why some of the other wireless devices out there are being sold for twice as much as the LEKATO units the one thing that I would like to see on all of these Wireless units is the ability to replace the batteries and not have to turn around and buy a new wireless device for 1 it doesn't seem like that's very earth-friendly because you know where these units are going to end up and they're going to have corrosive batteries in them and they're just going to get thrown in the trash once the rechargeable batteries wear out so it just seems like it's more Earth friendly to be able to continue to use these devices and change the batteries ourselves and and not have to turn around and buy a new wireless device for 1 it doesn't seem like that's very Earth friendly because you know where these units are going to end up and they're going to have corrosive batteries in them and they're just going to get thrown in the trash once the rechargeable batteries we're out so it just seems like it's more Earth friendly to be able to continue to use these devices and change the batteries ourselves and be able to properly dispose of the worn-out batteries two companies who's business is to see that the batteries AR dealt with and don't end up in the ground to destroy making products and just throwing them away seems to be the American way of life and that's got to stop we do have to take care of our Earth and efficiency tells me that reusing the product bye installing new batteries is the eco-friendly and just plain out Common Sense way to handle this product the one test I haven't been able to run yeah it is using them on stage during performance when there's all sorts of Wireless signals flying around so I want date this review Once that takes place up to now I'm having no interference while I'm playing buy with confidence

A good value
A very good value. I have had the Lekato 5.8 guitar wireless system for a year now and have used them for practice and a few gigs. The signal is as good as my Shure wireless as evidence being used in a good sized ballroom that seats about 250. Also the Shure is more cumbersome with an and extra receiver and cable on my pedal board and the transmitter has a cable I need to attach to the guitar strap. As for distance I can go to almost any spot in that ballroom which I do most of my gigs at and get a clean signal. This helps when I need to monitor my sound system which I run from the stage and with an iPad. Battery life, I can get through a full 3 hour gig no problem and have done 4 hour rehearsals but that is its limit with a brand new battery. I also use it for practice so I’m not tripping over cables in my studio. So, in summary in my usage the Lekato Wireless had a decent signal, fairly good battery life and convenience of a direct plug in at the guitar and pedal board. It is not top of the line but, it is a good value. Also I just throw them in a gig bag with a bunch of assorted cables and hardware and they still appear durable. After all like most of these units they are plastic. If I was still gigging every weekend I could give a better assessment on that but for my purposes I like them.

Active High Output guitar pickups T A M E D. No drops anymore
Having drop issues with wireless guitar systems with active high output pickups. Tried a Lekato WS-80 same issues, along with two other brands. Came across a review stating the Lekato WS-50 could handle the active high ouput guitar pickups. And it worked wonderfully. As an F.Y.I., just make sure no bluetooth system is ON in the close vincinity of your wireless system. Very satisfied with the purchase, reasonable price too.
