DIGITUS USB to serial adaptor
Works perfectly. No issues setting up. Only need to set the correct port with the limited number of options allowing a trial and error approach. Was delivered next day (a Sunday).

Great little product
Absolutely loving it! Great little product. Extremely fast shipping, even arrived 2 days before estimated delivery date. Affordable and compatible with everything. I use it mosutly for connecting and configuring to HP and CISCO routers and switches. FTDI chipset ensures driver support and hassle free operation, as opposed to previous (Prolific) RS232 converter i owned. With Prolific and other ones i tried (different chipsets) every major Windows update forced driver update, and updated driver never worked, there was no communication with device, so always had to manually reinstall from customized driver and manually stop it from updating. It was quite a chore. With this one it's guaranteed it will always work and auto install perfect driver. It's really small and has protective cap for USB connector so you can conveniently store it almost anywhere. and has separate USB extension cable included. I've tried many of different USB to serial RS232 converters cause we use them at work all the time, on different operating systems and devices, and of all brands and makes this is the one I would recommend to anyone needing the converter. Highly recommended.

Works perfectly with MegaSquirt EFI
Used this to connect to the serial port on my MegaSquirt fuel injection controller. I set the port speed to 115200, and it connected first time. Spent ages struggling with cheap rubbish when I should have just got one of these. It even comes with a short USB extension cable to take the strain off your USB port, so you don't even need additional cables to get connected. Definitely recommended. I did make sure to start with the latest drivers which are available from the ftdichip website.

One that finally works!
I have a very awkward and old audio amplifier which is extremely finicky to connect to using a com port, my old laptop which had a com port worked fine until my son blow it up fiddling with a charger, so I have tried a few USB to com all failed but this one works every time, in windows XP pro, Windows 7 64bit and windows 10 64bit Brilliant thank you for a great product.

Genuine RS232 signal levels
I have found some versions of this converter don't generate RS232 level voltages, but TTL instead, and so are very unlikely to work with RS232 serial devices. This one, however, does produce the correct signal levels, was easy to install (didn't even need the install disc - my PC just found the right drivers automatically) and it works well.

Product as described in the specification information. Excellent service - item arrived well in advance of the expected delivery dates. Fully recommended. Installation instructions not too clear - did not auto install on my version of Windows 7. You then need to know which folder to choose from the CD. All worked out OK but could be better explained.
