I've had this blouse in my cart for a few months debating whether to purchase it or not. I love the look of houndstooth. I wasn't sure about the fabric - would it be too thin, not drape well, not fit well. I immediately tried it on when I received it and it fit perfect. It was a soft drape without being too thin. this obviously goes well with black slacks but also with my jeans. I wore a chunky silver necklace and it was a perfect outfit. I have also worn it with a thin white turtleneck underneath it. If you are debating getting this blouse like I was, don't hesitate.

The blouse is surprisingly well made. I love the on trend print. It is very pleasant carmel and black. Looks and feels much more upscale than you might imagine on amazon. I ordered L for my 5’4”, 145 lb frame and it fit perfect.

White shirt in XXL:I wish I could go back to where I reviewed the blue and white print version of this, because it has become, hands down, my favourite shirt! I hope I will like the white as well (so far I have only tried it on, I wash new clothes before wearing them).The fabric is 100% viscose, which is a natural fabric made from trees (well, using a chemical process, but the end result is similar to cotton), and it is lovely and very comfortable and soft and doesn't make me sweat in the heat. Although the fabric isn't heavy, the weave is tight enough that the shirts aren't too sheer. I can wear the blue print shirt with any bra, and I think I can wear the white with a beige bra and no undershirt, which is nice because I live in a very hot country. The cut of these shirts is very nice, and they are easy to wear. I sized up due to wide shoulders, a full chest and large arms, and I have lots of room, and the material flows nicely, so I can tuck it all in and the excess fabric over the waist and hips isn't bulky. Very comfy, very classy.The only reason I took off a point is because the cuffs are oddly large (this is coming from a big-boned lady over 5'10" tall), so I have to roll up the sleeves even though they are actually long enough for me to wear unrolled.A note on the colour: I previously read a review on this shirt that said it was off-white. The shirt I received was optic white. A bright, cool white. As I had read it was off-white, I planned to wear it with beige and ecru, but this shade of white goes better with blue, grey, and black.Black & White floral print in XL:I am tall with broad shoulders, and to be honest, I can barely tell the difference between the XL and XXL. Both are loose, but the fabric flows nicely, so both work well on me. They have the vibe I'm looking for and are comfortable in the heat. As I mentioned, I initially bought this, last year I think, in the blue and white floral print and it is THE BEST SHIRT. The blue print reminds me of old French wall-hangings (in a very good way), or Delft pottery (which I love) and it is gorgeous and incredibly classy. It looked to me in the picture like the black had a sort of weathered look, a bit faded, but in real life, the black print is really true, solide black and white, so it's higher contrast, doesn't have the antique vibe the blue has, and is borderline harsh on me (because I am a grey-haired old bat!). So it is slightly disappointing for me, but others may love it. Just be aware that the print is more contrasted and clear-cut than it seems in the picture (to my eyes at least). I will still probably wear it. But I wish I had ordered a second blue one instead. I shouldn't have told everybody, because I can't order it right away, and I hope the blue ones won't be sold out by the time I can place another order... Amazon people, if you are reading me, please send me a blue one for free, LOL!

I get so many compliments on this shirt. Nice cut, fitted and flattering, but not too tight. The fabric (I liked these colors in particular) is fun without being too flashy. I wear with beige jeans in summer and with olive green pats in winter.

I’m 5’7” and normally wear a size 10. 36D & I usually opt for a large shirt. I sent my 1st shirt back bc there was a fabric tear around the shoulder. I asked for a replacement shirt (same design) bc “things happen” & what are the odds there is problem with my replacement, right? We scheduled professional family pics that included extended family & were wayy overdue; this particular shirt fit into the agreed upon color scheme perfectly. I received the replacement shirt quickly & briefly tried it on before the shoot. It fit & no tears. HOWEVER during the shoot, I noticed the button around the breast was undone, exposing the girls. Even though I was certain it was properly buttoned earlier. Thank goodness I wore a push up bra that day and my girls look great (whew)! I rebuttoned & made sure all the buttons were securely fastened in each button hole. A few mins later, the photographer pointed out the button under the breast & the next one down were unbuttoned. Long story short, even though buttons were securely fastened, they kept randomly coming undone. I felt uncomfortable & like an exhibitionist all day. Overall, I don’t recommend this shirt.The pros: The design is pretty & the cotton is light weight.The cons: buttons just don’t stay buttoned. It’s probably ok if you wear an elegant cami or tank under it.

I would have kept this blouse, but just a bit tight in the sleeves. Print is tasteful but if you roll the sleeves up, the back side of the fabric is white with no print so it looks odd. If you don’t plan on rolling the sleeves up, it would be great. Not sure how it will wash up as I did mot keep it. I usually take a 22W and this size did not drape as much as I prefer.

The buttons are very small so if you have problems buttoning things this might not be the shirt for you. Amazon thought I should get a large, but it’s way too big for me sleeves or at least an inch too big around the wrist. It is cute. However I’m gonna try to find somebody to take the bigger size and I’m gonna order a smaller size. It is fluttering. It’s very cute

Wore this top to our Thanksgiving dinner and it was loved by guests. What I like about this top is that it can be worn all year round as a pop of colour. Sizing is good and no problem after the first wash
