I bought this book on the off chance that my 20 month old daughter would listen to it in the car, instead of the same old nursery rhymes.Wow - after about hearing twice, she was hooked - she ALWAYS asks for "Charlie Lola" in the car and we have to hear this every time. But the best part is we (the parents) love it too - I must have heard this over 50 times and my wife over 200 but we're still not bored of it and neither is my daughter.She joins in at times shouting out a word or sentence "Ready-steady-go" before the characters do and you know she's listening even when we've switched off, because every now and then she will chirp up with a word.The other v. positive benefits are that these CDs give our child an opportunity to visualise things in her mind and so stimulate her creativity without even seeming like it's education.Thoroughly recommended on all levels.

One of a growing collection of audiobooks which forms part of our kids' bedtime listening. One of my kids loves this (along with 'My Extremely Good Story Collection' which we pair together as a playlist) but their older sibling really doesn't (which is not ideal seeing as they currently share a room - good job they take it in turns to choose their evening listening!). I think they're ideal as they're fun to listen to without being too rowdy for bedtime wind-down. Both kids wake up in the morning reciting the stories so they both enjoy it really...

Wonderful audio for young children. My 6 year old sister loves the show and books, and this audio book is exactly like the cartoon which makes it all the more worth the money. Same voices and music. Brings the books to life and a joy to listen to.

My 3 year old granddaughter 'absolutely' loves it. It has been listened to in the car and she has it on her CD player at night after her book story time to help her settle to sleep.The characters are great and it is good that they sound the same as on the TV version. It is funny to hear my granddaughter chatting to her toys with liberal use of the word 'absolutely' after she has listened to this CD.A good buy for girls or boys.

The more children's programmes we become exposed to through our 2.5yr old son, the more I appreciate how clever and charming Charlie and Lola is. It's simple, sweet and stimulating and the makers take pride in producing something of quality.This audio book, like the TV series and the books, is charming and features the convincing voices of some clever children (thankfully not the voices of adults) who explore their everyday world. My son has loved them since he was a year old and we're grateful he has good taste!

Arrived quick in excellent condition. Even the stickers, which were related to the stories in the book were untouched tho it was a second-hand buy. Stories and pictures are great, my 5 year old daughter loves it. There is this 2-pages big picture where you can trace the path Charlie and Lola races ("I've won, no I've won") , my daughter keeps asking for that particular story so that she can follow the path with her finger :)

Very creative and gives me happy feels. The book quality is excellent too.

Absolutely brilliant for my 3 year old. We can relate to it very well, great illustrations, it's funny and educational in a clever way and it's become a regular book of ours. Our favourite story from the four is "Snow is my favourite and is my best". Kids love it!! They even memorise the words Charlie and Lola say so are slowly reading it back to me!

Me ha encantado

Both of my kids and myself absolutely love all stories by this author and the Charlie and Lola stories are especially enjoyable to read. This book has five stories in it and all of them are so much fun that my four-year-old will never let me read just two or three but insists on reading all five every time LOL we own and continue to purchase numerous books with Charlie and Lola as well as other books by this author.I highly recommend buying any and multiple stories with these characters and/or other stories by this author
