DeWalt DW743N 240V 250mm Combination Saw

Would like to see a laser for the mitre saw, and the rail guide for the table is clunky & hard to align. Changing the blade depth is VERY laborious as no handle. Not a substitute for sliding mitre nor adjustable table saw, but a very very useful basic version of both. Quiet, motor & blade speed, quality of all moving parts are as you’d expect from DEWALT. Worth the money if you’re short on space or for site

Don't waste your money, arrived damaged,poor manufacturering.

This thing is fantastically well built. It is very heavy but easy to use and cuts wood with quiet ease. In fact, I'm amazed just how quiet it is. A mere whisper compared to my last, although somewhat cheaper saw. The performance is excellent in both modes and the only compromise I have found is the lack of slide on the chop saw, limiting cutting capacity slightly. I was expecting more of a compromise from a "multi purpose" saw, but lack of slide is really it. It comes with storage areas for most of the accessories, e.g. guards, tools, work piece pusher, for when not in use. The only slight niggle is the sawdust catcher/guard used under the chop saw is held on with a plastic quarter turn clip in a way which the clip manufacturer never intended and I'm expecting it to break fairly early on. Will not be difficult to replace with a more robust one though. So far, I can only strongly recommend this to anyone.

Great tool, that is versatile and easy to use. Anyone into carpentry or similar should seriously lok at this tool which hands micro adjustment for all types of cutting. Highly recommended.

Highly accurate, slow start up, a really good machine that is ideal for both table saw and chop saw applications alike. It's not cheap but for a do-it-yourselfer it's a great addition for the workshop.

Brilliant piece of kit. If you are a tradesman or ardent DIYer it's a marvellous tool that will soon pay for itself. Well made, easy to set up and use.

Excellent machine had an old version and this is much improved and perfect for all types of joinery work 😀
