Very good camera and interface, even if it is plastic construction. Stabil at all but highest resolutions, Good software interface and measurement app is acceptable but clunky to use. I still like it for my eyes can no longer focus on the tiny surface mount components and the tight circuits on todays highly integrated electronic printed circuit boards and projects. Makes component placement a breeze now.

This microscope arrived a day earlier than expected. It was very well packaged and the instructions for assembly were clear and easy to follow. For the most part, operation is pretty intuitive and for those few areas I had questions, the instructions were adequate for answers. I am very satisfied with its overall function. I use it to explore the macro-world with my granddaughter. I especially love the ability to snap photos, and the large screen provides easy viewing for both her and myself. Being able to capture video is also a nice feature for examining various lifeforms in liquid samples. I have read complaints in other reviews that images shake too much under higher magnification. The microscope is very sensitive to vibration, but nothing I was not able to overcome. Additionally, there is a "freeze image" option that can help control that issue. The only areas I'd say this microscope lacks in is that the table is plastic and not as sturdy and solid as I would prefer. Also, lenses B and C simply rotate into position but lens A requires swapping out the lens housing and essentially reconfiguring the scope. It would have been nice if all the lenses could have been in the same housing. That all said, this is a $100 or less scope and for the money, I think it is a great buy. Even with the minor defiencies I mentioned, it's a great scope for kids or hobby use, and opens up a whole new world of macrophotography. I would not hesitate to buy it again!

Excellent magnification of parasites, flies, spiders, insects, and other tiny objects.

the scope has great lenses and the magnification and clarity is very good once set and let it stable. Everything is more interesting once magnified. My 7yo loves it. Unfortunately, it is very (and I mean VERY) hard to adjust. The whole thing would shakes at the slightest touch at anywhere on the scope. It makes it impossible for my boy to get a clean zoom on anything.
