Pets Imperial® Norfolk Insulated Dog House - Size L - Wooden Dog Kennel with Opening Roof - 104 cm (W) x 66 cm (D) x 70 cm (H)

I initially thought this kennel was great, bought in December 2019, and by December 2020 the back had completely bowed away from the roof and floor, the roof was sodden and the floor is now rotting. I'm disgusted. I bought this to keep feral cats warm, not wet!

Once assembled it looks good, but has flaws:The base has almost a 1cm gap at one end once you slide the base panels together. You therefore have to adjust the slotting to close the gap at the end, which means it won't be as insulating a base as it should be, plus leeway to pinch your pets skin if they fidget and move the slats.Assembly was easy except for the lid. The lever arm hinge markings were out on one side, so it was quite tricky to work out which of the marks was correct in order to balance it with the opposing hinge. There were no marks for the actual lid hinges, so trying to hold the lid in place and mark up the holes to screw in so that it opened properly was hit and miss.Arrived with a damaged panel - packers should have rejected this and not packed the damage panel! QUALITY CONTROL ISSUE: this is manufacturer taking advantage of customers; it is quite bulky, so once opened hard to repackage and return, plus cost and time, effort etc.. so relying on customers just accepting the damaged kennel, for which you have paid a big price.Would I buy it again? Maybe, but not at this price, and not with the quality control issues.

Very nice big dog kennel and it was easy to assemble. I like that its insulated and the that you can lift the top. It has helped us to make sure our puppy is comfortable in it. The entrance has plastic covers which keeps the cold out - fantastic! I hope pup wont rip it down though... The only downside is that one of the locking arms which holds the roof when its open broke within a day. Its made of a quite soft metal and if you don't watch for it it bends and breaks easily. All together I'm happy with the purchase.

Generally very good. Our base didn't wuite fit but we put a base if old carpet. The dig is growing tho so I think we should have bought extra large.

A good sized solid kennel for my border collie. Reasonably easy to assemble with 2 people. Instructions mainly in diagrams Came quickly. Very pleased

the hinges are fragile for the weight of the lid and one is already bending. over all I am pleased with the product thank you

We tried to query this with Pets Imperial but they were not interested as we couldn’t give them the order number. Very very poor product quality and manufacturer’s service.

I had almost given up on finding a decent sized cat house then I saw these, I purchased the large one and it arrived in a couple of days, I fitted a panel in the dog door and fitted an automatic cat flap, I fitted the porthole window so it wasn't totally dark. It is now perfect for what I wanted, now I just have to buy a heated mat and it's job done......... The dog kennel comes flat packed but a 10 year old could assemble it, the quality is pretty good for the price and I'd certainly recommend it.
