Me and My Large Grey Sisal Cat Scratching Post and Platform

Much better than I expected! It is taller and thicker than a regular scratch post. The top platform is slightly smaller than the base so that stops it from tipping over when the cat jumps on it. Both my cats use it but only one jumps up to sit on the top.Would definitely recommend if you want a sturdy post to save your furniture! :)

I bought this of two reason: My cat is ripping the hell out of my sofa, and I don't have deep pockets.It arrived in a couple of days from ordering, so top marks there. It's easy to assemble (stew the pole into the base, screw the platform on to the pole). The fabric is stapled on the underside of the base and platform, but nothing that screams hard-wearing: the base fabric has a slight ruck where I've screwed in the pole. However, this just a quibble for now.The main focus is the pole. Once assembled my cat went straight for it, sticking and scratching her claws into for a good ten minutes before tiring herself out. She's used it repeatedly over the week that I've owned this, and stopped touching the sofa! At one point she went to claw the sofa, stopped, and went over to the pole.It's reassuring to know she'll use this scratch post. I didn't want to waste money on a budget post, let alone a multi-level/multi-purpose post. I'm happy with this purchase for this reason alone. If our cat manages to rip it apart, then I may consider buying a more expensive model, but for now this is perfect and wish I'd bought it sooner.

The product itself was absolutely perfect, but unfortunately I didn't measure where it was going to go and if my cat had sat on it he would not have been able to see out of the window which was one of reasons for buying it!! So I had to send it back, but the fault was all mine and the company was very understanding and gave me a full credit. So I was very impressed and grateful.

Updating this review as i have finally bought a second one. This scratching post lasted a year and a half with a large feisty tomcat attacking it. Every other make i have gotten lasts a couple of months. Highly recommended.

I would really like to give this 5 stars, as it's value for money and customer service is good. However, the first post I received was broken in half. It arrived just in a plastic bag with the broken post half sticking out of one corner. No protective packaging at all, so it was hardly surprising it arrived liked this I contacted the seller, who was apologetic and quick to respond, offering a replacement to be delivered by Express Courier. I received the replacement within 2 days, undamaged. However, the packaging was no better. Arrived in 2 plastic bags, the only difference being this time, is that the whole post was contained within both plastic bags, so not sticking out. I suggested to the seller, that the post should be packaged in a box or at least bubble wrapped, especially as I had paid over £7 p&p. They just responded by thanking me for confirming it had arrived safely, but made no comment on the packaging. So, buyer beware, your item may arrive damaged. The item itself, is sturdy and good value.

Cat LOVES it. Went to the pet store to buy him a new tower and they are 40-80 quid for the same design as this only a lot smaller ... This one here is so big and awesome my cat has slept on it every night since I got it. Such god value

Very happy. Much bigger and sturdier than I thought for the price. Good quality too! Some reviewers said it toppled over but if you put the larger square base on the floor (not the smaller one) it’s absolutely fine. My cat is nervous so took a little while for her to warm up to it but we just tied some catnip to it and she was soon scratching and lounging on it.

Great size ,Teddy loves it and he isn't a small cat.
