Q: Is it made in small batches

As a user of this coffee I would say yes as the consistency in the roasting, the color taste and smell etc could not be kept so consistent in larger batches, i highly recommend this coffe since i started to use it my coffee bill has dropped as coffee shop coffee doesn't cut it anymore.

The packaging does not show it organic, so unlikely.

Q: Are these in a transparent package? As your supposed to avoid light getting to your beans because they go off quicker.

Yes the packaging is see-through in some sections. I reseal the bag and put it into a cupboard. I typically go through a couple of bags a month so they never sit for long.

Q: Can you use this in a cafetier?

Yes, just do a larger grind than you would for drip coffee.
