Amazon Essentials Men's Regular-Fit Cotton Pique Polo Shirt (Available in Big & Tall)

This Amazon Essentials shirt delivers. True to size with a clean regular fit, solid stitching, and good fabric weight, comfortable without feeling thin or clingy. No see-through issues. Holds shape after washing and works for both casual wear and work. Great value staple.

I purchased this Amazon Essentials cotton pique polo for my son, who is 5'10" and about 180 lbs, and the size large fits him perfectly. The material is comfortable, breathable, and feels well made. It looks sharp enough for work or going out but is still casual and easy to wear. Excellent value for the price. We’re very happy with this purchase and would definitely buy it again!

Off the bat, here are two photos of this shirt to help you out: (1) My arms are up and it shows you how big the Large version of this polo is. There is room to spare and plenty of sleeve length. (2) I am holding up one side of the shirt at belt level to show you how long the Large version of this polo is. The photo of the GREEN shirt is NOT THE SHIRT ON THIS PAGE. The green shirt is the slim-fit version. It's a perfectly good shirt. The problem is that the sizing is unlike any polo I have. I'm 6' 175 lbs, I would say my body type is over on the thin side. I usually buy size Large shirts. When I put this size Large shirt on, it was much bigger than I expected. I admit, I have been wearing Gap polos for a long time and a few years ago, they went through this process of progressively cutting their polos more and more narrow. At this point, I consider Gap’s polo a fitted polo, and it’s their only polo. In other words, I have only been wearing fitted polo shirts for a long time. I thought I would switch to a more standard polo, save a little money, and buy some of these Amazon shirts. Same size I buy in all casual shirts. Large. I was expecting a looser fit but, to me, this Large was more like an Extra Large. Much bigger than any Large shirt I had worn in a long time (maybe ever?). I can't suggest one buy a medium to compensate because I haven't tried one. I also can't say if washing it would shrink it enough. Maybe if I washed it in scalding hot water and ran it through a dryer on the "surface of the sun" setting, it might shrink enough. I’m going to opt for returning them. Don’t forget to take note of the length of the shirt. It’s long. My Gap polos land a couple of inches below the waistline. These shirts fall much further down (see photo). This is actually great if you tuck it in but not if you don't Bottom line – it strikes me as a good shirt. You just need to know these are big shirts. I’m going to give the slim-fit version a shot. *UPDATE* The slim-fit version is a MUCH better fit for me. It's almost, but not quite, too tightly cut. It is a looser fit than the 2018 Gap polo. It does shrink a bit in the wash. I've added a photo of me in a slim-fit green shirt. Also much shorter in length.

I'm officially a fan of Amazon Essentials clothing line now. This shirt fits me perfectly (with a little room for shrinking in the wash no less). The colors are great and the feel is just right. I plan to try a few more of the polos in this product line.

I got a couple of these for work and weekend errands. It fits well: not too tight, not too loose, and works for both casual and slightly dressy looks. I even threw one on for a last-minute video call, and it looked clean without trying too hard. Pros: Soft and breathable Holds up well in the wash Works with jeans or chinos Good for layering or wearing alone Great price Cons: Collar sometimes curls up after drying After a couple of months, it shrank a little… or I got bigger. Hard to say Still, I wear these all the time. Super reliable shirt. I’ll probably get more in other colors.

This looks super sharp on my husband. The weight is quite heavy and hangs lovely. The detail on the collar and sleeve is quite dressy. Really a nice shirt for the price.

I never cease to be amazed by the consistently high quality of Amazon Essentials items. Some customers may pass them by, assuming them to be below standard because they are moderately priced, but this is definitely not the case. This short sleeve polo shirt is very durable and the fit is perfect. Very oddly, none of the questions above asked about the fit. There is only one thing that annoys me - and that is the lousy grammar in the description. It was obviously originally written in a different language and then translated into English by an inferior quality bot with the final result not having been reviewed by a human editor. That said, I stress again - this is a very well made polo shirt. If you buy one, I can guarantee that you will really like it.

I was a bit sceptical when I saw the price of these polo shirts. But honestly the quality is just as good as you would find in M&S etc. The fit is generous, without being over-large. This is the third one I've bought. They wash well (no shrinkage), colour's don't fade. And during the hot summer we've just had they keep you nice and cool. They have a nice sleeve length, I personally do not like to have the sleeves too short. These come just above the elbow. Really nice shirts, will buy more next summer.

Empiezo diciendo que no es el mejor polo del mundo, ni se le acerca, pero la relación calidad-precio-estilo es simplemente increíble. De hecho, es el polo favorito de mi marido desde que llegó, sobre todo por lo bien que le siente y lo bien que se siente. Al usarlo, se nota la suavidad del tejido piqué de algodón, agradable al tacto y fresco en días calurosos. La confección buena sin ser excelente, aguantando bien los lavados sin perder forma ni color, al menos por ahora. En cuanto al corte, es generoso sin llegar a ser excesivo, aunque algunas personas pueden encontrarlo un poco holgado en la zona de la cintura, pero para mi esposo es perfecto porque tiene esa barriguita que no hay manera de que le abandone desde hace años. Las mangas tienen una longitud adecuada, llegando justo por encima del codo, dándole un aspecto elegante. Si es cierto que el tallaje es grande, pero no excesivo. En nuestro caso una M le va perfecta, holgadita para verano, pero la longitud es ideal sobre todo para llevarlo por fuera que es como le gusta. Es cierto que por ejemplo, en otros polos de marca lleva una L pero le quedan algo largos y creo que por eso este le gusta más que los otros, aun reconociendo que el piqué no es tan bueno como otros.
