I have been on the hunt for the perfect toaster oven for weeks. We needed something with a small footprint, a crumb tray, adjustable shelving and reliability. We didn't need any frills - just a basic oven that toasts bread and reheats leftovers. I don't know why that was so hard to find! Most toaster ovens these days come with features that we don't need and you end up paying double the cost. I just got the toaster oven today and put it to the test. It was incredibly easy to unpack! It's also very lightweight and fits on our counter perfectly. I set the temperature with the top dial and the time to the bottom dial. That old familiar timer sound was music to my ears! It says, "I'm reliable." The pizza slice actually heated up ahead of time so I was able to manually stop the process by turning the dial down to "off" and heard the "ding" sound. It was perfectly reheated, no burning, and there were no chemical smells upon first try. But the BEST part of all is the door! I LOVE the way it swings back out of the way, so when you remove the food out of the oven, there's no dripping on the glass since it's behind the unit. It's also so cute with its diminutive stature! This is day one so, if any updates are required, I'll do so but I'm very happy!

Have had it for a few months. Very good toaster. more expensive than some. But it seems well made.(You get what you pay for, perhaps). But do take care, or it will over brown the toast! Easy to clean. The glass has not fractured. (It was a cold winter day when I took it out of the box and set it up). (The glass might have fractured if I had turned it on before it warmed to room temperature.) Maybe I was forewarned by others. The cord is too short. Made for modern kitchens, I guess, with outlets every 3 feet or so. My kitchen is 36 years old. So I did but a heavy duty, short extension cord, adequately rated for the wattage.

This is big enough to bake a trader Joes pizza for you. Very easy to clean. Also this is my 2nd Hamilton beach toaster after 3 years. That one was the same top door but with 2 control knobs which I think burned out since I washed it several times within these years. Anyways that's for reading. I wish I could post some photos but it looks like that Amazon is saving money by not letting reviewers to post any photo or video.
