Arrived promptly. Very solid feel to the grinder and works very well so far. The "adjustable" seetings is something of a misnomer as it works by just screwing the top nut a bit tighter. I was expecting something more sophisticated. The top nut seems to change from tight to loose more easily than I would like, but otherwise it works very well and is an attractive addition to the table in piano black.

Quality of grind is supreme and preserves flavour by not crushing the peppercorns, but cracking them and grinding them. The mechanism hasn’t changed much from the original model. I was also surprised by the amount of ground pepper that it produces with just a turn or two. The product is proudly made in Quingey, France. Certainly the best pepper grinder I've bought, solidly built and grinds beautifully. The only fault is that I understood it could be adjusted for fine or coarse pepper but that doesn't seem to be true of this model. It may be that the description I read applied to a different model but the way Amazon displayed options may have confused this - so check carefully if you want a grinder that can be adjusted. For relatively fine pepper it is excellent and will no doubt last many years.

Peugeot grinders are great. Sounds mad but they grind your salt and pepper are easy to refil, adjust. Ergonomic, comfortable to use. Live the olive wood. Although quite expensive well worth investing in quality item that is probably used multiple.times a day by multiple people. Don't scrimp

These are great grinders I’m a professional chef and have had one /not the same since my early twenties ,give a great grind whatever size u want Purchased for my son who’s getting In to his cooking,he says the same Nice wood and easy to use

I was excited to get this pepper mill as I had heard great things, but I believe that this a faulty version. This one last a few months before I started to have problems. I later replaced it with the same version bought from a local cookware shop and the version in the shop has a metal bar going all the way around the base, meaning that it holds in the mill part. This one was missing that metal ring, meaning that the bracket holding the mill in would eventually move, as it's screwed into the wood base (instead of a metal ring). A year later this one was worthless. Do not buy, as you can get the non-faulty version in a local story for the same price.

Top quality product! The Peugeot mills are excellent quality with a steel mechanism which should last for many years. I’ve had plenty of pepper mills but they all seem to break due to being made out of plastic or poor quality ceramic, was delighted to get this during prime day. Well worth the money and I’d buy again (hoping I don’t!).

This Peugeot pepper mill is absolutely first class, it actually 'grinds' the peppercorns as a mill should do. It is the best mill that we have had, well worth the extra cost to have something that really works. Would definitely recommend.

安価なものと比べると5倍くらいするので、 なかなか購入をためらっていた。 が、やっぱり安物はすぐ壊れる。 何度も書い直すことを考えたら ある程度ちゃんとしたものを買ったほうがいいのではと ようやく重い腰をあげて購入。 さすがのプジョー。 壊れかけの安物ミルでは「辛すぎて食えん」状態だった黒胡椒も、 キメ細やかにひいてくれて、香りと味のバランスが一気によくなった。 餅は餅屋ですね。 花山椒用にもう一つ別のものを買うか迷っている…。 ちなみに、「一度にたくさん入る安物」から乗り換えたため、 胡椒の量が「思ったより入らないな」とは思った。
