Surprised of the size

These bags are super sturdy however they are the size of a small cereal box. Not worth it.

These bags are not what I expected the photos online make the bags look a lot larger than what I was delivered. The material of the bag is really sturdy. They are made of some type of woven material.

Honestly I didn't pay close enough attention to the size of these and assumed they were grocery bag sized, which is what we intended them for. They're smaller, like gift bag size, which is what we'll probably use them for. As you can see in the picture, the burlap weave is kind of a mesh, so it's not in any way waterproof, insulated, airtight or whatever, but they will hold most things bigger than say grains of sand. Why this would be an issue is beyond me, but it is perhaps worth mentioning. All in all they weren't that pricy and will come in handy down the road.

Sturdier than the usual reusable shopping bags. Can handle extra weight.

These are definitely High quality gift bags. They're small so they're not much good for grocery shopping but they'll have plenty of other uses for me. Very strong and sturdy and with reinforced handles. The jute is tightly woven and smooth. At this price point and quality, I highly recommend these bags!

They're good and sturdy bags for certain. Just for grocery shopping they're a bit on the small size. Primarily to get that fifth star from me, they'd need to be able to expand more in the width. These here can only expand by about 4in to maybe 4-1/2in. (A plastic grocery bag does about 8in to 10in.) That I feel restricts their usage too much.I'm also a bit concerned about how well the can be washed. They're a heavy-duty plastic, with a lightly woven burlap outer covering. And, such bags are only reasonable if they can be used for a very long time.
