TRIPPED Travel Gear Compression Packing Cubes for Carry-On Travel 2-Pack

Very nice set of compressible packing cubes. After you put your clothes in, zip the main zipper and then the other zipper to compress it down. I compared them to an Eagle Creek version that I have. These bags seem a little sturdier than the Eagle Creek, and they are double the weight (which is negligible, really). They are less expensive than the Eagle Creek and seem just as good. I will take one of each on my upcoming trip and see how they compare, but they appear to be about the same, for all practical purposes.

I purchased these for an upcoming Italy trip. I had to cancel the trip, so I'm not sure how they hold up. But I found them to be perfect for my needs while I was packing. I bought two medium and two small cubes. The larger one easily held five t-shirts and was much smaller after Using the compression zipper. The zippers do tend to catch on the fabric at times. They don't open completely, but I didn't find that to be a drawback. Looking forward to taking them on the road.

Absolutely love these packing cubes. I bought a couple of sets now and I use them every trip. The reduce the size of my clothes and keep me organized. They are made of durable material, zippers work very well, easy to use, and designed to allow easy access. I like the soft feel of the material and the colors they have available.

Works well and as advertised. You have to put in some effort to stuff it full and then to get the zipper closed, but it does the job. I have used them on long trips to Japan and Italy and they have an add on benefit of keeping articles separate throughout. Beware of weight limit on your luggage as these obviously don't reduce the weight on what you are packing.

I have been using standard packing cubes for many years now. I really wanted to like these because I like the Tripped Vlogs. So I decided to try the "compression" cubes. The quality of these packing cubes is as good as any I have seen. I have to say that I am very happy with the new design with the longer zipper. It gives much more access to the cube and makes packing much easier. The packing cube that I have been using until now does not compress and I was skeptical about how much space the "compression" design would offer. I am happy to say that there was a sizeable difference in total volume. I did have to break up my load into the 2 bags, but it was nice to have the separation of underwear, socks and sleeping clothes from the rest of my gear. The large bag took 2 pairs of long hiking pants, 2 t-shirts, 1 pair of swim trunks, a long sleeve collared shirt and a light hooded shirt. The small bag easily took 2 pairs of socks, 2 pairs of underwear, a long sleeve t-shirt for sleeping and a pair of sleeping shorts. The added bonus was that the 2 Tripped bags weigh less then the single standard big brand packing cube that I have been using. Its a great bargin for the quality, organization and weight savings that you get over standard packing cubes!

Ok product. I found they will fit a lot but won’t zip to compress. I would have to pack less if I wanted to compress it. I used it for travel and most of my clothes was crushed even though I rolled them carefully. I have regular travel cubes and I think I like those better. (They don’t offer great compression- they’re regular travel zip around cubes). These packing cubes don’t zip open completely, so putting things in and taking things out is a pain imo. I would use this product if I were camping or backpacking with minimal clothing. I would use regular zip around travel cubes for regular travel (easier to get in and out, can be placed in hotel drawers for easy access to clothes) and these mostly for backpacking/camping trips.

How did I ever travel without these? They make packing and traveling so much easier! I bought my packing cubes sometime back, but wanted to use them for a while before writing a review on them. At first I bought the six piece set. Upon receiving them I was very skeptical about their ability to compress much and actually save any space in my luggage, so I performed a little "test". I took my 20" carry-on and using the packing cubes I packed as much as I could into it, so that it was completely full. I then took everything out of the packing cubes and tried to pack it all back in the suitcase without them. I couldn't do it. No matter how much I tried to rearrange things. Being sold on being able to compress everything I bought 2 more sets: one 6 piece and one 2 piece. With all the different sizes I'm able to accommodate pretty much any size suitcase, duffle, or backpack. They make packing so much easier. I can organize my suitcase as I'm packing, so I'm less likely to forget something. By organizing my suitcase by items or outfits, I can easily find things when I get to my destination. I wasn't so sure about the thin fabric and being able to see somewhat through it, but it actually makes it easier to know what is in the bag. So how have they stood up? Really well actually. Don't let the thinness of the fabric fool you. They are thin, but the material is light and strong. There is a little bit of a learning curve to using them though. When packing them, you have to be careful not to overpack them or you risk breaking the zipper (which I almost did). If you have to strain to close the zipper BEFORE the cube is even compressed you have too much in it. The main zipper should close easily. My only gripe comes in compressing the cube. When compressing the cube, if you try to zip it up too fast, you run the risk of getting the zipper snagged on the fabric. I have found that if you run your finger behind the zipper and push the fabric back as you are zipping it closed you will avoid any snags. Other than that these cubes are perfect! The stitching is holding up very well after numerous trips and the handle on the top makes it easy to pull the bag out of your suitcase. Overall great purchase. I would definitely purchase again. Oh and clothes pack much better in these when folded flat, not rolled.

As described and prompt delivery, overall satisfied with these compression cubes. The quality is good, I have used them a few times now, and the compression works well, especially for carry-on bags. My only small comment is that the bags do not open fully (3/4) which makes packing them slightly more difficult. But overall a solid choice, and good value.

Looks good at first look but I've not put them to the real test. (Keeping the 5th star for now) The S can hold 2 tshirts, 1 tank top & 1 set of pyjamas, and compressed into a neat bag like a A5 size book. I would recommend getting this packing cubes for a short (3-5day)trip, esp if you are flying budget without baggage allowance.

Je ne donne mon avis que maintenant car je voulais savoir s'ils tenaient le choc. Franchement le meilleur achat que j'ai fait en ce qui concerne le voyage. Permet de compresser les vêtements et de gagner de la place. Les fermetures éclair sont solides. Rien à dire. Je recommande.
