Perfect fit, good quality product
Perfect fit for OEM replacement on my 2006 VW Beetle hatchback

2000 Jetta VR6 perfect replacement
The 2k Jetta has a known trunk release issue where the plastic piece that the actuator presses against can break. After opening up my non-working trunk however, I noticed the old actuator had almost no power at all, even when no pressure was on it from the latching mechanism. This part was a perfect replacement for my VR6. I can't speak to how long it will work but it produces a good strong movement to unlock the trunk. I'm very happy with the part.
