Fixed the minor cracks in his paws quickly, I apply to his dry nose and he licks most of it off so I’m guessing the taste is decent. Basically something you can make yourself but we are Americans we purchase things vs making anything ourselves. Moisturizing and soothing get it if your dogs needy like mine and needs home spa days.

Smells like old oil.

I got this for my dog because for a while he was biting at his back constantly and causing pretty bad skin irritations. I only ended up using it once because he stopped biting himself not long after and I didn’t see a point in applying it anymore, but it seemed to help.

My dog doesn't seem to mind having this on his paws. I usually only use it when his feet are pretty dry and it helps! My dog does lick his paws after I put it on as well so he must like the way it tastes.

Due to size I use this product very sparingly. When my puppy's paws get itchy I apply some and the salve calms it down. I do like the product, but truly haven't had a chance to use it for more than her paws. I use a different more economically priced salve for any rough or dry spots.
