Lily Makes A Way (Dream Pony Riders)

My daughter and I enjoyed this sweet story!

This book 2 in the series is just as sweet as book 1. The friendships and relationships show that they work as team to get things done. I love the message in each book, they are so beautifully written. The love of ponies is like medicine to the soul. I’m looking forward to the rest of the series. I highly recommend this series to all ages.

This is the second in a series but a great stand alone book. Lily loves horses and finds a way though hard work to learn about them. I always read books before gifting them to my granddaughter to make sure they don’t give misinformation. Even when dealing with a serious injury, this is factually correct. All young people have challenges and Lily’s hard work and perseverance pay off. Great lessons for a young person. I was given an advance copy of this book so I could leave an unbiased review.

This is a great story about a girl’s love for horses, but there are many other elements to the story. It addresses issues dealing with adversity and overcoming life’s setbacks. It also stresses the importance of compromise, love of family, and the blessings of close friendships. An added plus is lessons in horseback riding and caring for horses. I recommend it highly for little horse lovers, and plan to give it to a little girl who wishes she had a pony.
