Excellent Mac replacement keyboard!
I have gone through 2 Apple Magic keyboards and while I like them they don't last and the letters fade and disappear over time. My white keyboard is mostly just blank keys now and my newer black keyboard has lost most of the left shift key and the 'A' key, with signs of other keys fading as well. I went down the mechanical keyboard route but frankly it doesn't serve Mac's very well at all and I bought and returned two keyboards, each priced well over ยฃ100. My solution is this wired Cherry keyboard. Yes I lose a USB-C port but I plug it into the USB port in my monitor so there's no impact to the other things I have plugged directly into my laptop. Being wired also means no recharging, and even better, no Bluetooth weirdness (which was obvious in both keyboards I tried, particularly in the most expensive). It looks coo, feels great and isn'y annoyingly noisy! It's taken a few days to get used to because it's a different thing to the Magic keyboard, but at this price point it makes perfect sense and I'm already comfortable with the new typing experience. I highly recommend this keyboard!

Great feel, top quality
Cherry have been making keyboards for 50+ years, and it shows in the KC 6000C. The feel and quality excellent.

Too many compromises
I bought this Cherry KC 6000 for Mac wired keyboard for when the bluetooth plays up on my Mac mini pro after system update. We shall start with the plus point, the operation of the key are both smooth and responsive and the lettering is not transfers stuck on the keys. So they will not rub off in time. However the build quality and the materials used let this keyboard down. The price is not a budget keyboard like found on office dell computers. This is more mid range. The metal facia that is glued onto the plastic body looks nice, I can see it detaching over time. But there is so much plastic still on show. It is not a slim keyboard, so it is raised thus not giving good support for the palm of your hands and wrists. It seems thicker than needed for the key's travel. I have had other thinner keyboards with keys that had similar travel. Then there's the method used if you want to increase the angle of the keyboard, by using the self adhesive feet. The angle of the key was crazily extreme, and did nothing to the comfort of using the keyboard. This is not a quiet keyboard, especially when using the supplied feet. The keyboard easily flexes thus giving the overall impression of this being a cheap keyboard, rather than a quality inspired German product. If you do use the feet, you will not be able to put the keyboard back into its packaging, for transporting. So I feel it is overpriced for the quality of experience of having to use the keyboard for extended hours.

Cheap and cheerful
Cheap and cheerful compared to OEM but a fraction of the price so no surprise really. Does the job but hasn't got the tactileness (if that's a word) of the original.

A better keyboard than the Apple
Bought originally for three Mac Studios to save the exorbitant cost of the Apple wireless ones. After 6 months (the family - we have 5 PC's, refugees from MS disaster Windows 11 spyware) we invested in one Apple wireless all singing all dancing keyboard. It didn't last a month - lousy keyboard experience for typists. We would endorse this keyboard to all serious PC users.

A lovely keyboard with a superb typing feel, under the reputed Cherry brand
Such a decent quality keyboard considering the price. Has a 'function lock' feature which is useful to avoid complex keyboard combinations. It's a large keyboard and looks like it's got a metallic base although it's plastic. Like the "Cherry" logo. Cherry is a well known brand from the 80s and 90s, and this feels superior to cheap keyboards and certainly far nicer than some of Apple's failures. The feel of keys is crucial and usually the defining point between good and garbage keyboards. The feel is superb. It's not clunky and clackety like some older ones. But it's got reassuring depth without requiring too much effort. Very comfortable if you're a writer! What I don't like: nothing really. But a few minor points I want to mention: - Instead of a fold out keyboard riser, they provide stick on angled platforms. These are fine if you're not looking to take the keyboard travelling, but will probably come off in a bag and get in the way. - Cable is a bit too long; would have been better if it was replaceable (USB-C -USB C) instead of wired in, or partially coiled. - Price of the USB-C version was a third of the USB-A one. Ridiculous on the latter, but very reasonable on the -C - Would have been nice with an aluminium base instead of plastic - No USB hub (e.g. for a mouse) I'm impressed enough I feel like I could do with another one. At the price paid, I might just do that. Recommended if you don't really need wireless (you probably don't with a desktop computer)

Nice!
Very happy with this keyboard. It replaces an Apple Magic Keyboard that started having connectivity issues. Nice keyboard press feeling.
