For the price it's definitley worth a shot
I'm giving this 5 stars because of the price. I've only had it in for a few days but it has solved the problem of the engine light coming on. If you're looking at this part I assume you have the tools and know how to replace the part. (takes about ten minutes, torque wrench is advisable) The same part in the Amazon Honda store is close to $100. I'm sure it's much more at a Honda dealer. My thinking is that even if it only lasts for 6 months, with the price and minimal effort to put it in, I could do it 7 times before I reach the price of the OEM part. If it lasts longer, great.A friend even suggested that I replace it every time I change my oil. (every 5,000 miles with synthetic) That might be a little bit of overkill but considering the miles I drive that would be about every 9-10 months.Anyway, I've ordered my backup and I'll keep it handy.

Buyer beware!🚨
I replace this Valve Timing Oil Pressure Switch on my wife 2005 Honda crv yesterday 10/22/2023. My OEM Valve oil pressure Switch was working fine, the only reason I replaced it was because it was leaking oil….So I replaced it with this brand I bough here on Amazon, so today 10/23/2023 my wife drove the car do the first time after replacing the switch sensor, she took our daughter to her doctors appointment, she took the highway and this sensor failed! The car went into limp mode and got stock below 40 mph, it was very dangerous because my wife was driving at a speed limit of 65mph when this happen and made the car go to a limp mode. Very dangerous!!, this thing can easily cause an accident if it fails… so we had to towed the crv back home and scan the codes and YES! it was a faulty switch sensor, so install the OEM sensor switch back to the car, and the car is now running very smooth…. It’s not worth the money, too much time installing this, was basically a waste of time and very dangerous to be install on a car, buy the original one instead and stay away from cheap brands!

Try this before replacing Vtec spool valve assembly
It is worth trying before you buy a whole new VTEC spool valve assembly. Honda OEM is much better than aftermarket assemblies so try to reuse yours, they are so finicky, often this is what goes first. This got my 2007 Element up and running out of limp mode. It looks just like OEM but that doesn't mean a whole lot, time will tell if it holds up, the original had 200k miles.

It worked for a few months
Looked identical to the broken oem part.Used it for the oil pressure sensor on the vtec control module on a 2006 Element I broke the brittle plastic plug on.Edit: Started giving high voltage signal after a few months. Bought an oem part that is working fine.
