Fun kit
Fun little kit. There are a lot of pieces to solder so this will keep you busy for a while, but it is also fun to play with after assembling. Between the 3 switches and 2 knobs you can create a bunch of different light patterns. Kids will like it

Great practice
This was truly my first kit and I by no means am an expert at soldering. This was a fun learning process and lots of pieces for practice.

Excellent quality and a great confidence builder
The media could not be loaded. I am a novice solderer and this kit was challenging. As others have noted, some components are close to each other and if I counted correctly the kit requires 384 separate connections.I fully expected it not to work given how many times I needed to remove solder and then reattempt. If it hadn’t worked I figured I be to blame.It does work! Every LED, each of the four switches and both potentiometers. I cannot claim credit, since I am sure the fact it works is more a tribute to the quality of the components and the online instructions.If you want soldering practice and a kit that provides meaningful feedback, this may be for you. I may buy another.

Incredible practice
The media could not be loaded. I was a bit overwhelmed when I saw all the components, especially the 81 LED lights that needed to be position close together. After doing some practice Sollars on a surfboard and watching a couple YouTube, I got it done. No issues whatsoever. It is definitely, a good item for practicing soldering. Very clear instructions. I do wish there was some way of explanation of how it all works and what each component contributes. But this is a soldering practice and it definitely provided that.

Great Kit for Learning, but not sure if it's
As the other reviewer mentioned, this kit does not come with any physical directions. If you look under the "Product guides and documents" section of this listing, you will find a link to download a PDF for instructions.As for this kit, I did enjoy making it and there is a lot of good soldering practice. I'm not sure if I would recommend this to someone who is brand new to soldering as there is a lot of relatively tight soldering required, but the kit is cheap enough that if you mess up it's not the end of the world.

No instructions
There are no instructions. Though it is not hard to figure out what goes where, there are not instructions on how to put the components into the PCB and have them stay in the PCB when it is turned over to solder. For a kit that is suppose to be soldering practice, some instructions on the actual soldering would have been helpful.

Did not come with any instructions. The board seems to be high quality. I guess just put the pieces where they go and give it a burn?
