Omega Evolution Max Pickleball Paddle

I really liked this paddle, it provided good power and really good spin. It was ranked near the top in a pickleball paddle spin test. Unfortunately after only about 20 hours of play I noticed small white specks on the playing surface. Upon further inspection I noticed that the white was areas that were wearing off, especially in the middle of the paddle where most contacts with the ball occurred. Also, that same area was becoming less abrasive. The abrasive/rough surface is what imparts the spin on the ball, so the racket was loosing the surface that helped impart the spin.On a good note, I contacted the manufacturer and filed a warranty claim. After sending them pictures of the surface they approved my claim. They offered to replace the paddle, but I chose an upgrade instead with a good discount added.Hopefully, since the new paddle (PURSUIT EX 6.0 GRAPHITE) has "The rough texture is the actual skin (not an overlay texture commonly used in the industry) therefore the texture lasts" it will not wear down like the Omega paddle.
