Decent, not great
These are basic skins that are good if you are a beginner for sure. Nothing special, nothing bad.

OK Drawing Surface; Didn't Test with Tattoo Pen
I ordered an almost identical product to use for artwork a month ago, and it worked so well, I ordered this too. Most of my review for that product works for this one, as well (I've edited, where I found differences):I imagine that most people who buy this use it for practicing their tattooing skills. However I ordered it because I wanted to see how it would work as a drawing surface. This silicone "skin" is soft and flexible, yet fairly sturdy if pulled a bit. The surface does feel a bit like soft skin.I drew on it with a pen, and that worked well. It took a bit to get used to the give of the "skin" under the light writing pressure. Then I tried a Sharpie permanent marker. That immediately smudged, so I tried again and let it sit for a few hours. It still smudged.I wiped it down with some hand cream. In this case, I had the opposite results from the other tattoo "skin" product I tried. This time, the permanent marker was considerably lighter, but still definitely visible; the pen ink came right off. I rubbed for a few seconds, but the permanent ink residue remained unchanged. I imagine that the ink has soaked in, and won't come off.I can't say how this would be for practicing tattoo art. As an art surface, you'd need to coat the finished work to create anything permanent, and unless you're using a pen, you wouldn't be able to reuse the piece.

Awesome thick practice skins
These skins are great for practicing just about any technique to build your skills (pulling lines, shading, and depth control). When tattooing real skin, you want to get the ink into the dermis which is about 2mm deep. These skins are 3mm thick so you can practice your depth control. Other skins are super thin and with those you run the risk of puncturing through them and drilling into your table which is a quick way to blunt your needles. As long as you don’t punch through the skin, you can tattoo the backside so you can get even more use out of them. This is not an option with thinner skins because the ink typically bleeds through the backside. Each skin is also individually wrapped which is nice because it keeps your skins clean and cuts down on your prep work before you start tattooing. I would still recommend you wipe them down with detergent or alcohol to get rid of any residual grease before you lay down a stencil or pull lines. These skins are stretchy and the surface is nice and smooth just like real skin. However, only measuring 8 inches by 6 inches, these skins aren’t the best for practicing larger pieces, but the quality is good enough for showcasing your work to potential clients or employers. I hope you found this review helpful.

There is no comparison between this and every other practice skin. This is the gold standard!
When I first saw this posting I was surprised to see that this incredibly high quality, high-end tattoo practice skin was being sold in 8 x 6" sheets. I'm glad I was wrong. These are the full-sized 3mm world's most awesome tattoo practice skin. I'm not exaggerating. This skin actually measures 11 1/4" x 7 1/2", which is roughly twice the size of all those inferior, cheaper practice skins, which are 8 x 6", and only 1.0-1.5mm thick. This is 2 to 3 times the thickness. What does that mean? Well, for one thing it doesn't move. It won't ball up. It allows you to easily utilize both sides of the skin. It works easier, and holds ink better. In short, it's a totally superior product. If you're serious about tattooing, and you need a practice skin... spend a few extra dollars and get the very best.Trust me, there really is absolutely no comparison. This stuff is legendary!

Really good quality
Dragonhawk blank tattoo skin is really good practice skin. This 3mm skin size is the perfect depth as far as practicing goes because most other skins I have worked with are much thinner. This skin is easy to use, and it is double sided so you can tattoo on both sides if you don't go through it and are precise with your tattoo needle. I recommend this skin for practicing. It is really good.

Not the best
They work for a beginner on a budget but reject a lot of ink while also staining easily which makes no sense.
